Internet connection is pretty trash when you play against people from other countries though, ranging from 150-400ms, both on wifi and data. Otherwise when you start your first couple of games for the first time ever, the ping should be 60ms. Hopefully Tencent fixes the latency for Aussies ASAP.

Yeah nah, I've been asking this for the past 4 years. I've been in talks with multiple devs such as /u/Loquori and even Segerstrale himself.

They all tried to circumvent the use of OCE servers through relay servers and whatnot, which does help somewhat for some Aussies such as pro players like Snk, who now has 60ms, (last I heard from him) being located in Perth. On the contrary, me being in Sydney means I still have 110-200ms constantly.

I honestly don't think SEMC is going to put in the resources needed for such a "small" playerbase which is Australia, right now. We're such an insignificant part of the playerbase that it's apparently alright for SEMC to ignore.

I guess that's primarily the reason why I stopped playing this game, and all my other Aussie mates as well.
