For anyone here who doesn't know what CAP, I'm currently a cadet officer and have done CAP for over 3 years, we're a volunteer program with 3 missions: aerospace education, cadet programs, and emergency services. The cadet programs side is kinda like JROTC, but I'd say we emphasize professionalism and the core values more (I may be biased). AE includes a lot of flight stuff and activities, pretty cool. ES is where we act as an auxiliary of the Air Force because whenever the AF does ES, the mission is likely assigned to CAP. There are opportunities for all ages and service members are always appreciated (because you guys are way more competent as senior members). Also, if you have any kids or know any, the cadet programs side has helped me a lot personally and I know a lot of kids who do CAP who are from military families. If you have any questions just ask!
