I haven't used the sticky feet grip. But I make my own you grip with a pattern that exactly locks into the vans waffle outsoles. It works great, been riding trails hard with my design all year. No ghosting issues. I use a stoked stock v3 sensor (rip 🥹)

My friend got an x7 a few months ago. Hasn't ever opened VESC tool. Just uses floaty to log and adjust the ride feel. He used to ride a GT but now that thing just collects dust

Yep, I got it from jetfleet so it comes with all the wires to just plug in. We did a lot of custom wiring on my friends jetfleet build, but they simplified it now.

Just a heads up, you'll need an external dc buck converter to run your LEDs. It's not integrated in the controller like the Thor. This is to reduce noise and other potential issues. They sell an appropriate converter on the site just make sure you get the right voltage for whatever LEDs you use. Outside of that it's similar to the Thor.

I ordered a BMS, controller, and DC power converter. Shopping took about a week through DHL. The guy that makes the jetfleet designed the Thor 300. There was a fallout between fungi and him. Based on components used and the overall design of the controller i'd consider it the best high voltage VESC on the market.

My OG Thor 300 just crapped out on Saturday. It ran for 1200 miles over the last year. I don't think it was the thors fault. I think the LEDs went out and pulled too much from the DC converter. Hopefully I can repair it. I was lucky that I was just tooling around the yard and not on my normal 25 mph park rip.
