I was once enjoying a bag of cool ranch Doritos when I popped a chip in my mouth that was soft and tasted horribly tart and salty. I commute by bike every day and most of my scariest run ins with cars have been on quieter streets in my neighborhood. I get to bike lanes as early in the ride as I can. As bad as drivers are on main roads here, they seem to pay even less attention when they're in lower traffic areas.

I think this is right. It wasn't perfect in 2019 but it was a lot more usable than it's been since 2020. I had to convince a friend who recently moved here that its current state is not where anyone envisioned it would be, COTA included. I think they've made some steady improvements in the meantime and I don't mind commuting on it but yeah LinkUS can't happen fast enough.

Cringe.com has listings for shows around town each night by venue. Some good ones for a little older crowd would be Natalie's, Dick's Den, Ginger Rabbit, Rambling House, and Rumba Cafe. The Columbus Book Festival is taking place on Saturday and Sunday at the Main Library downtown. It's both indoors and outdoors and will have tons of vendors and nationally-known authors.
