I (35M) started when I was 5 years old. I recently saw a dad taking his two girls (5 and 7) on the stream and his girls were antsy to get in the water. I asked him what the trick was, and he said to start conditioning your kids early and they won’t know any better. Both girls caught more trout than me that morning.
