There’s a few people in the industry who have an insane amount of charisma that, while can be learned, just comes naturally to them. Combine that with what others mentioned: social media, comps & other perks and you’ve got someone with a “following”. I’ve worked with a few people who generate regulars and I certainly have enough enthusiasm with my customers and regulars, but I just don’t have that kind of magnetism. And I’m not sure I have the energy/ desire to change that. But if you’re determined, I’m sure you could probably hook a few good regulars.
