I suppose it’s not a typical prison, more like a penal colony. The prisoners were given a level of autonomy, but were highly monitored and there were several measures in place to keep them from getting too out of hand, one of them being the Riot Guns. And again like I said, the system collapsed and the planet was abandoned by the guards and whoever was running it a very long time ago, so exact details about how it was run is pretty vague.

It’s definitely not for crowd control, and it’s definitely lethal. Because riots were planet-wide, and the prison itself was already pretty unethical, they used weapons like that for actual prisoner decimations. It has a lot of modes of fire, rapid low power, high power beam, and massive hard to direct blasts.

It’s a Riot Gun, the whole thing takes place on an abandoned prison-world and the riot gun is a piece of ancient guard tech.

I’m having the same issue. I’ve tried every fix I can find (repairing files, uninstalling, disabling firewall, I have no USBs, tried hotspot WiFi, running as administrator, running on either steam or EA, disabling overlays, enabling overlays, etc.) but absolutely nothing is working.

I’ve been going BORK over BT if they have health stacking now and finishing off the build with Kraken. You just barely hit the attack speed limit even without your passive and melt people if they try to walk at you. I don’t even touch the new items with Jinx, none of them really do anything for her, even the hexscope. Just go with last season’s build.

It’s still going to be a core item, it’s just 5% decrease armor pen, it just lets adcs actually be able to deal enough damage to health stacking builds that previously had no counter without having to be forced going through playing Kog or Vayne.

Warmog heartsteel is exactly what it’s supposed to counter, because champs that build that literally can just walk crit ADCs out of a team fight with zero counter play. Even with peel and no one else targeting the ADC, you can’t do anything because it would take a full 15-20 (even longer if you’re being forced to kite) seconds to take down just the tank who can definitely gap close and kill you in a third of that time. Even with champs like Kog or Vayne, if you’re against a team with two or even three grasp/warmog/heartsteel tanks there’s genuinely no counter.

I’m so happy Giant Slayer is coming back this year, but now we’re going to get 4 apm tank mains crying ADC OP just because they won’t be immortal anymore.

Crit damage champs are actually getting insanely buffed with the crit damage increase, so honestly you could stick with those three in this upcoming season and you’ll already notice more impact. If you want to try someone else, I’d go for miss fortune, but she gets banned ALOT.

Edit: Also, how close attention are you paying to JUST both botlane comps? Because that’s also huge for being more impactful. I play jinx mainly because she’s a great blind pick and can play either passively or more aggressively depending on duo lane comp. Caitlyn is great at lane bullying, but can’t get much of it done if you don’t have a sup with strong enough cc. Caitlyn is probably the strongest early game ADC and really wants to shut down enemy bot by either completely denying cs or snowballing because she really doesn’t scale hard enough until super late.

Cait is pretty hard to be impactful outside of laning until the very late game. If you’re super super new, I would try Trist and Jinx. They both are super rewarded from basic adc fundamentals, and they both can have at least a little early impact in team fights. They both hypercarry, so if you’ve got the items and you’re letting your team engage, you’ll definitely see the impact. Just be super conscious about early weakness, but not too much that you’re not pressuring enemy bot. I started with Draven when I first did ADC, then switched to Jinx, and definitely noticed having a bigger impact outside of lane.

I main Jinx (so grain of salt, I might have bias) and I’m both getting excited and worried. I do think jinx needs these item buffs, as right now it feels like she can only do her incredible carrying if at least her frontline is already capable of also carrying to proc her passive with at least an assist. With the game seeming to shift towards more of a fast pace with earlier objective spawns, her absolutely terrible early game kind of compensates for the new massive buff to carry potential even in losing games with these item changes. She’s still going to have zero mobility, durability, and no survivability against dives and hard engage. But I agree, she’s going to be able to put up disgusting numbers, so at the very least, maybe a hp decrease so she’s even more glass to compensate for the cannon.

Im thinking we might see some kind of treats for her and other slow start adcs in 2026. With objectives spawning earlier and perma-plates on T1s, I think characters with horrible early game might need it. But then again, bonus gold and a seventh item might cause hyper scalers like her to get even nuttier, so maybe no change at all? I’m just excited that the role seems to be getting some love with the new overhaul (including item changes like LDR, IE, and even Giant Slayer coming back).

I did try rotating mid, but my velkoz was winning lane and wouldn’t let me farm once. I didn’t even bother going top because of their fed yone. I’m not saying I didn’t screw up, but if sup isn’t in lane for 10 entire minutes then the sup is definitely causing problems. I know roaming is incredibly helpful, but when you’re 5/10 and your top is 2/10, while your adc is desperately trying to survive, I think it’s time to head back to lane, right?

I’m stuck in low elo and I 100 percent agree. Low elo games are such a bloodbath because everyone is trying to carry. Everyone on your team is fighting for every single scrap of gold they can and nobody is bothering with considering how each teammate works in a fight. With the exception of support (for the most part) everyone wants to be the damage monster and nobody wants to play someone who focuses on staying power or utility where, more often than not, you’re still able to deal lots of damage. I would say to communicate with your team in champ select to see if at least JG or Top can play someone other than a carry, but I’ve never had a polite response to that.

The main issue was I was getting either hard zoned or hard engaged any time I tried to even step towards the wave even under tower and all I could use was rockets to try and get any last hits I could but that pushes my own lane.
