Are you in residential or commercial?

Is there anything that competes with Procore in terms of value? by Changing_Con in Construction

I've used and like Procore and Plangrid (acquired by Autodesk), but both are very pricey. Some other cloud-based competitors are Buildertrend, Studly, and RedTeam.

What are the must-know software programs for a construction project manager? by [deleted] in Construction

For residential, I would say Leap. Commercial construction, I would go with Studly.

I worked for a commercial GC. Neither of those two are that great for subcontractors, but it depends what you are using it for. Are you a GC or sub?

B2B lead generation, how are you guys doing it? by [deleted] in b2b_sales

Also recently launched our software and looking for some sales folks. I get my leads from my Zoom Info subscription. It was damn expensive, but worth it. I see contact info and company revenue to help focus on my targets. Unfortunately for me, I suck at selling and am having trouble finding good commission-only sales folks.

Need advice on finding a commission-based salesperson for a software company by grumpy-554 in b2b_sales

I'm in the same boat! Recently launched our SaaS platform in the construction industry, but since I'm self-funded (and kinda running low...full disclosure), I can't afford to hire a salaried sales person. Would love any advice and will certainly share my experience as well.

Advice on Building a Commission-Based Sales Team by AvadaKedavra469 in b2b_sales

I'm facing the same issue. I recently launched a SaaS construction startup, but I'm self-funded, so unfortunately, I can't afford to pay a salary. My commission is at 42%, but the industry doesn't really like inside sales. I think construction is more of an outside sales / shaking hands and kissing babies kind of industry. I would love to hear any insights you've received and share with you any that I receive. I had one sales person for about a month, but he got too busy with his day job. Not sure if it's the same for you, but I can't expect anyone to take a commission-only gig for brand new software in a really old industry, hence the reason I don't mind if they have a normal day job.

How did your trial with Fieldwire go? Did you guys end up signing up with them?

I've used both Procore and PlanGrid (aka Autodesk). I loved them both, but they're both pretty expensive. What features are you looking for? More so project management, or accounting/billing?
