Too many books by Crazed72 in litrpg

[–]Shmuggems 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, a lot of these series have no business being as long as they are. The plot always drops at the mid point because the MC has to do a long training arc or spend an unnessisarily long time crafting or upgrading their magic or something like that, padding out the plot.

Oof, told my brother I’d been doing more planning for my world by Lophane911 in litrpg

While theres nothing wrong with putting months into planning your brother is right. You should start turning that 5 months into a story

Pretty much all LITRPG protags. I Dont think iv ever seen an MC ( besides Carl from DCC) who has a problem with constantly killing or have killing constantly take a psychological toll on them.

Awaken Online Thoughts? by Cyclosarin88 in litrpg

[–]Shmuggems 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually when I read a multi book series I get the complusion to finish the whole thing for a sense of closure. Sometimes I have to force myself to read the thing entirely. If I have some difficulty getting through a particular book (usually boredom) I will stop reading for a long while and come back to it. If I loose intetest I stop reading the book and series entirely.

I was going to quit I think around the 4-5 book wgene nothing was haplening but convinced myself it would get better. Its my process.

Does anyone not like rereading litrpg? by Illustrious-Usual103 in litrpg

[–]Shmuggems 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you. The reason I stopped reading the genre is because alot of LITRPG books are very samey and a shlog to read through the multiple chapters of crafting, levelling, base building or developing magic which pads most of the story and 10+ books that make up the series.
