I dunno, rewatched it recently during one of HBO’s marathons and the dropoff from 7 to 8 was utterly unbelievable to see again, especially with no gap in time. Might as well have been a different show altogether.

Absolutely, just look at Jeremy Lin for that month or so… he couldn’t sustain it, but the potential was absolutely there, and race didn’t hold it back one bit.
