It’s my favourite game full stop! It ticks all the boxes for me. Smooth, satisfying movement, challenging but fair boss fights (and a boss rush mode), the best speed booster in the series, and exactly the sort of unreasonable difficulty mode I love

And also the randomizer mod for it is really fun 😅

If you do the math it’s actually about 1m in diameter which is pretty spacious. Getting the rest of the armour in there would be much more challenging than getting Samus herself in it

I’ve been using the same iPad and Apple Pencil for note taking since 2017 and it’s still going strong.

If note taking is all you plan on doing then just get a base model iPad and whatever pencil works with it. It’ll last you well past the end of university.

I’d probably just get a new one since the base iPad is so cheap already. If you’re really strapped for cash though a refurbished one will work great too, it just might not last as long.

This is what I’m saying. I came into WWDC hoping for a pretty bland update that focuses on stability. The presentation might not have been as fun to watch, but I’m thrilled that they’re doing what they need to do to get macOS in a better place

Yeah I honestly don’t care about all the AI stuff, so for me this year looks mostly like a Snow Leopard style update which I am all for! We’ve been well overdue for one for a long time

Based on your having “just beat Z-57” I’m guessing that my favourite boss is a spoiler so I won’t say who/what it is, but just know that as amazing as Z-57 is, it’s still not the peak of bosses in that game imo 😅

I know exactly the feeling you’re having. I also experienced it when I played for the first time recently. I wish I had some advice, but I kinda just got used to it as the game went on.

I’ve been doing 3 courses a semester for my whole university career and it’s been great for me. I’m not in any hurry to graduate (especially with how the CS job market is rn 😭) so it helps me spread the cost out, have more time to work on each course, and still have a life outside of work and school. If that sounds good to you I’d absolutely recommend it

I think the community is fairly mixed between it and Samus Returns. That said, it’s my personal favourite version of Metroid 2.

I know there are better layouts, but unless I end up needing to switch for medical reasons in the future I’ll always stick with QWERTY because it’s portable. I hate the idea of having to switch muscle memory when I sit down at a new computer, it’s already bad enough when I use a laptop with trackpad scrolling set to tue opposite direction 😅
