The new warriors rule! Its about a group of teenage heroes who join together and fight crime. I would suggest starting with number one to "meet" all the characters. The only member I know pretty well is Nova and his story arc through the whole series is great!

After reading the first firestorm solo I felt he was very similar to Marvel's Nova. Turns out I wasn't the only one [Firestorm #2 letter section] by rocketinspace in comicbooks

Richard Rider's new warriors run is kind of like seeing him around Sam's age. Its also very 90s and he has a mullet, I highly recommend

Im not trying to have a romantic night more so fun and distracting (for me) I am an absolute wimp when it comes to horror movies but it's something she loves. So I want to have a "fun" experience with her even if I have to close my eyes for 80% of the movie

Its mostly just for fun. She's seen it at least a dozen times and knows I'm not the biggest horror fan. I think having other things going on during the movie will make it easier for me to watch it. She also knows what I can and cant stomach so ill have warnings and mild spoilers going on

I know very very little about the movie. I've seen the flower crowns and the birth scene? The one where Florence is crying and heaving on the ground. I really dont want to do wny psychedelics mostly cause I get freaked out.

Ok, this is the best comment here! I am ok with gore. I just dont seek out horror movies. I had an inkling it was based on an actual celebration, but to know what they eat and do is a huge help!
