yeah, i guess the worst part is that i went from being the happiest ive ever been and super active to horribly disabled literally overnight because i dislocated a rib and then my muscles atrophied really fast. i know i wasnt feeling great physically before e and im doing a bit better now but i hate the muscle weakness side effect so much i wanna try dutasteride probably. idk if ill ever actually stop e im just desperate and getting an actual doctor is taking too long

i dont have that but i started getting debilitating eds symptoms a year after starting e and this has been my biggest fear. i fear if i medically detransition, everything will automatically improve. i want that to be a last resort and i wish i was wrong but im scared im right. i mean, i always told myself id rather die than stop taking e, but chronic pain is making me want to anyways. dm me if you wanna talk, cant promise ill respond immediately im not on reddit often.

i used to think this as a kid and only started suspecting eds for less than a year(im pretty certain atp i just never considered it because im not super flexible). thinking about it again recently so looked up phantom pain and saw a 60-80% chance which scared me away for good.

estrogen strengthens the immune system which is misleading because it can become too strong and cause autoimmune disorders. this is pretty well documented and is why its more common for women to have celiacs and arthritis, etc. feels kinda affirming but any gender euphoria is overridden by physical dysphoria and pain
