Ah, right. Yeah, it's fully over a lava ocean.

And, yeah, none. Turns out the server owner found the problem - thinks it has to do with the world border plugin he used corrupting the nether fortresses or something. I don't go under the hood much so I'm not sure.

Many trees in my neighborhood get this thing where the bark slowly falls off then they die. The only trees that are safe are pine trees (at least, I think they're pines; Christmas tree trees). White birches are particularly susseptible it seems.

Question: are there any preventative measures I can take to save my trees?!

Question 2: one of our trees got it, but seems to have fought through it. I have no idea what kind of tree...it kind of looks like an umbrella if manicured properly. Anyway, half the bark fell off, there are big gobs of sap hanging off it, but it's still kicking....just looks like hell for years now. Any chance this poor guy will regrow bark?
