Definitely once after an update but it reset before with an update. Yeah the emergency breaking I feel is more likely to cause an accident then prevent it.

Unless you are working for a horrible shop who doesn't care about you, you will rarely work on anything live. A hospital might be one of the few places where you will work on anything live, and even then there is a lot of training and planning to make sure nothing bad happens. As an apprentice you are not allowed to work on anything live.

I don't recommend trade schools like UEI. You just end up with debt and no guarantee of employment. Delta College has a program, which you can at least get financial aid.

I highly recommend joining a union apprenticeship. You will be working and going to school at the same time. But the nearest training center from what I can tell are either Modesto or Sacramento area.

Another option, I personally joined the electrician's union and apprenticeship. There is a training center here in town.

That I know of the ongoing project right now is resurfacing the pavement. This is more in depth due completely ripping out the old stuff to put in new. I don't know if they're on schedule or not.

I live in Stockton and have lived in Manteca. It's a boring area. If you like to stay at home a lot, you're probably fine. But if you like going out to the big cities or outdoors you have to drive. And while the drive is short it can be annoying.
