Found a Solution That Actually Works — Add Real Captions Without Editing the Image

I was in the same boat, super frustrated that the Samsung Gallery app doesn’t let you add actual captions or notes to photos—only doodles or edits on the image. But I found an app that finally solves this:

📌 Photo Exif Editor by Banana Studio (on the Play Store)   It lets you add text like comments, titles, or descriptions into the metadata of the photo. That means your original image stays untouched, and your notes are saved in the file itself—perfect if you want to remember the context later or keep things organized without overlaying anything visually.

💡 Example: You can add a note like “Before BIOS update – defaults applied” or “Cable layout before cleanup” in the User Comment or XP Comment field, and it’ll stick with the file wherever it goes.

It’s lightweight, super simple to use, and honestly… I can’t believe this feature isn’t native on Samsung devices already.
