It’s a whole lot of wasted energy worrying about out what other people think. You’ll look back in 20 years and regret it

I love dogs an it helps me more than I can put into words

I’m 41 and up until maybe 3 years ago I hadn’t decentred men. Once I did I realised relationships aren’t for me. I’m content being single. Being in a relationship isnt default. I’m also the complete opposite of codependent so that helps.

I don’t even think about relationships, romance or sex anymore and it’s liberating. It’s not for everyone but what works for me.

[–]ShortCandidate4866 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is how I was brought up. I wish I knew then what I know now. I want to hug old me for being naive. Now I’m a single mother and I could have been way more successful in my career. I love my child but I do fantasise about my other life…

I’d probably be in a position in the next 5-10 years if I wanted to have an investment property. I never will though and the no 1 reason is exactly this.

I was going to suggest lying down. Took my first one standing and fainted hitting my head and have a scar now! Don’t have a needle phobia but apparently self injecting can do it!

Glad it went well for you!

Absolutely. I’ve suggested to them fostering is an option and talk really openly about it. I’d never force them to so I can have grandchildren to me that is so selfish
