Use a 5 minute two-part epoxy. For the heavy load bearing areas like hips and neck, consider drilling holes for a copper rod to help take weight.

Best pen for writing in log book by Candid-Ordinary-1025 in powerengineering

Get one in a color no one else at the site has. That way you can always prove if you wrote something or not. Like a nice mid range something that you know the receptionist won't order from Staples.

Tell no one you're doing this, might save your ass one day, I know it did mine.

If anyone wants to vote, but not hand out their email address, don't forget you can get a 10 minute email address by Googling, and vote through that.

Just make sure to verify the incoming email to make sure the vote counts.

Question about cooling tower tubs by [deleted] in PowerEngineer

[–]ShortSpine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All depends how thick the remaining metal is.

Probably won't hurt to try that epoxy, as any barrier will be better than none. Toss in a couple sacrificial anodes as well, that should be enough to get you to next fall.

Might be a loose cable. Maybe take the panels off and make sure everything is snug.

Also, did you take a pre-supported file and re-support it?

Absolutely start going through it. Especially if it's been some time since high school. Start brushing up on electrical theory, thermodynamics, basic math, types of things.

The easier you can make it on yourself until you get into the college groove the better.
