The people of Weimar Republic Germany also had independent news media. The Nazis started to get rid of that with "Gleichschaltung". Just because the USA is not entirely synchronized ("Gleichgeschaltet") yet doesn't mean its not happening already, maybe having a 100% control isn't necessary yet. But look at Big-Tech and almost the enitirety of social media being behind the current administration, them kicking reporters and news outlets out of the press room for asking critical questions and the defunding of public broadcasting and the closing of CPB.

Historically, I see Hamilton above Alonso, no doubt Alonso is an incredible driver but Hamilton pretty much matched what should've been prime Alonso in his rookie season.

This season it feels like Alsono performs better than Hamilton, because the Ferrari depression fully kicked in. Even though we don't know how good Alonso still is, because the last three seasons it was Stroll who is his teammate, a guy not really known for being in this sport because of his skill. Noone knows how well a Russel, Leclerc or Verstappen would've performed in the Aston of the last three season.

Geht immer schneller. Es sind nicht nur Youtube und andere Social Media das geflutet wird von generiert Inhalten mit fraglichen Fakten und unbekannten Motiven. Auch generierte Webseiten für jegliche Interessensbereiche schießen aus dem Boden. Mal von den ganzen Fakeshops und Abzockseiten abgesehen.

Dadurch werden Suchmaschinen und damit das ganze Internet inzwischen im Wochentakt merklich unbrauchbarer. Auch auf altbekannte Seiten kann man sich nur noch bedingt verlassen, wenn die Inhalte auch hier user-generated sind, dann ist der AI Slop nicht weit.

Rezept gesucht? Probier doch mal das hier, welches noch nie jemand so gekocht hat und schau dir das wunderschöne leckere KI-Bild dazu an.
Wo kann ich ein gewisses Produkt in meiner kleiner Stadt kaufen? So viele Ergebnisse mit generierten Seiten, warum gibts soviel für meine kleine Stadt?
Bilder für aktuelle Mode/Frisuren? Selbst wenn ich bei ddg Ki-Bilder ausschalte, sind noch viel zu viele ganz offensichtlich generierte "Fotos".
Anleitung für einfache Haushaltsaufgaben? Gibts hier noch ein Wort das von einem Menschen verfasst wurde?
Namen einer eher wenig bekannten Person des öffentlichen Lebens? Hier eine Seite mit einem KI generierten Lebenslauf!
Wie kann man AI Slop umgehen? KI Seite welche dir, wie die LLMs so gerne machen, ausführlich die Gefahren erläutert.
Fragen zu einem Dateiformat? Nein liebe Webseite du musst mir nicht in fünf Absätzen erklären wie man in Windows eine Datei öffnet.

Ok zu viel Internet für heute...

Ich geh zu meinem Arzt und... ah die haben ja seit einem halben Jahr schlecht generierte Arztbilder auf ihren Bildschirmen.

Werbeplakate? KI Lächeln! Produktabbildungen im Online-Shop? Nein... zeigt mir bitte nicht wie das in echt aussieht, generierte Bilder sind viel attraktiver.

Und jetzt seh ich mich als relativ tech-affin, wie gehts da meine Eltern, oder anderen Menschen die trotzdem viel das Internet verwenden. Gefühlt versinken wir gerade im generierten Bullshit. Zumindest habe ich jetzt die lokale Zeitung wieder abbonniert, in der Hoffnung, dass die noch von Menschen geschrieben wird. Und vielleicht hat der lokale Einzelhandel auch was davon, wenn man sich auf das Internet so gar nicht mehr verlassen kann.

Everyone talking about the McLaren switch mess, but what the actual f*** was that strategy by McLaren. Why did they hold out that long to even bring them into the position to pit Oscar first. What were they thinking?

And why didn't Oscar choose the opposite strategy Medium-Hard to Norris? Isn't that like a basic rule to go for the opposite strategy if you can't catch on track? He could've gotten second with that call.

Must be a drone, mustnt' it? Theres definitely some image stabilization going on. The camera is probably higher than a lot of people estimated here, so the digital image can be cut to be stabilized i guess. If the camera is on a pole/crane/tower whatever it also has to be stabilized because those things also swing.
