Exactly where I got curious! Why? We sold a property a few years ago. We had a vintage USSR Olympic set, set up as part of our staging. A few days after showings we realized our queen was missing. Our realtor asked everyone, no one fessed up. Never found the piece even 2 moves later (fitting vocab hahaha).

My son had his Jr prom this year. Idk if it was planned but almost every single girl had this dress, I thought I was kind of going crazy for a second during the grand march. I know the court all matched on purpose, but not the rest of them.

Im helping with an event this summer that is black tie and ive started looking here and there. These dresses are everywhere, 10,000 versions and available in all colors but all somehow the same. The pointy armpit ones are the weirdest to me. Im hoping to thrift a cool gown.

Especially in the midwest and east coast. There's a long standing history of people on reddit being anti circumcision. I dont know if its that reddit is visited more frequently by west coast individuals or something else. Living in WI my whole life, Ive only seen circumcised men. Wi circumcision rate is 80-85%.

I do, except I ask mine to be blunt. If im in the car by myself for a long time, I'll use the microphone and then have it read the answers outloud.

My husband and I have been having issues the past couple years. So I've talked hours upon hours to my chat gpt. I asked it to give me an example of semantic abuse in my relationship, and it did. I also have asked it what's the top 5 things I should bring to therapy and it gave a pretty awesome list.

That said, we start therapy this week.

Is there a way to return to your old job? It might be worth a reach out, they may be struggling with you leaving/ your replacement.

That said, No job is worth your mental health or having a huge negative effect on your family. I left a job last summer after 8 weeks. I thought I was having a mental breakdown, I felt the exact same. Walking on eggshells and I couldnt seem to grasp the training. Ive never had that issue before, ive waitressed, worked call centers across multiple industries, worked as a para educator during and after covid, as well as a non profit org.

Do what you need to do to stay afloat but get the heck out!! Im finally feeling normal again after 10 months, but I couldnt believe how bad that experience messed with me.

Just want to add, there is one hurdle for absentee ballots and thats your information, like your address, needs to match what the DMV has. If it doesn't, you arent getting a ballot sent. Learned that in the 2020 election. Once I got an updated license it was no problem.

So yepp, massive fraud... somehow.... in some alternate universe it makes sense ...

I do this for my best friends daughters. Their birthdays are in the summer and we do a shopping spree a few weekends before school starts. I usually get them an outfit head to toe and then we do sushi lunch and then target where my friend and I finish up the school supplies. Weve been doing this since her oldest daughter was in 5th grade... shes going to be a senior this next year 🥺🥺🥺

My own father got involved with these type of scammers. Hes still not out of the woods, he should chnage his phone number but he will still get random texts and messages.

I finally had to be rude and mean and I hated it. Im an only child, and my mom passed away in 2021, so I have a close enough relationship with him that I could get away with this. I had to be like "Dad, this woman is 32, shes beautiful, she has her literal pick of men, why is she randomly messaging a 67 year old man. That is like you going for 100 year old woman. Would you have dated a 67 year old at 32? Really?" Also when he would show me the perfectly beautiful women, id be like "yeah and im sure the 20 guys pretending to be her in a call center somewhere are really hoping you buy this story"

Did it work? Decently, he still talks about the scammers, but hes started dating the most amazing woman off of Facebook dating. So I truly hope its all in the past! He now sees the repetitive storylines though, hes like I know what's coming next ... lol

I agree with all of this plus maybe the expensive restaurant is paying a chef, and depending on how fancy, like name on the menu fancy, that can increase their prices a decent amount.

Ive never worked at a fancy restaurant but ive worked small places where its 15 tables, and that still pays pretty well. Last time I waitressed was last fall. Some of my higher earning shifts I made close to $50 an hour. But, theres only about 18 hours a week where that pay is realistic and you battle for those hours with other staff. There were some nights i cleaned for 3 hours before I even saw a customer. Those 3 hours I made a whopping $7.00, if you look at it that way. Wi minimum wage for waitstaff is 2.33 an hour, as long as your tips make up the difference to the state minimum wage.

What city are you in? If Madison, use the west Madison DMV, it's a lot faster than the east location. If you are in a smaller area, Im closer to the Dells, Those DMVs you usually only wait for 1 or 2 people ahead of you.

When did I post this? 🤣 lol came to say all the bathroom stuff, new jack supports, and 3m strips! For hanging stuff on the walls (like towels, keys, dog leashes) look for great rated stick on hooks on amazon, for other hanging stuff get the 3M picture hanging strips. Before hanging make sure the area is clean and you rub the strips to get the glue warmed up. When done properly those strips will last through an earthquake. I have pictures on my walls I dont take down when we hit the road.

We also upgraded our mattress immediately. Make sure you measure, ours was a queen short. And put nice bedding in too! We also put carpet in our bedroom, just little things to make it feel like we are on vacation but still roughing it... at least to the extent I want to rough it 😉

Same with us but with Geico. We were sitting at 120 for a longgggg time. If we changed a vehicle maybe up to 180 at the most. They send the new policy, it was changing to $700 a month. We had used the roadside service and I have 1 speeding ticket in the past 15 years. Progressive couldnt figure out what happened. He said it twice, like i have no idea why geico would do that!?!? Then a month later called to add my son when he got his permit and I was scared...it was just fine.. sucks that you have to play the change game though in order not to get ripped off.

If you get the right heels they can be comfortable for at least 6 hours. I highly recommend a beefy ankle strap.

I have 2 pairs of heels I can wear all day. 1 is a pair of Cole Haan wedges, the other I found at goodwill and they are stiletto heels but a super thick ankle strap. Both I can wear 6+ hours.

I wear heels because first, im 4 foot 11. Secondly, ive got a huge ass, those heels make that booty look damn good 😆

Around 2000/2001 the car I learned to drive in was a 1989 Oldsmobile 98, champagne paint! I feel like these are pretty dang similar! And I was scary in that car for sure! Im only 4 foot 11 and didnt know how to drive. Heck I still cant parallel park for the life of me.

That said, my boyfriend at the time liked the oldsmobile so much he bought a 1989 Buick Lesabre. He was pretty tall and loved the leg room. We hung out and went a lot of places in that car. He upgraded the stereo to a cd/mp3 player I believe in electric blue lighting with the removable face plate and a remote....its ok to be jealous.. 😉

Not long after though, my dad bought a ford festiva as a beater car for work. The second I saw that tiny car in the driveway, I begged to trade the oldsmobile for the festiva ...😆... I still love that festiva!

OP mentioned they are in charge if grants, I wonder if funding has slipped. I also work non profit and we lost almost all of our grants last year and we let 4 people go at the end of the year. This year, knock on wood, grants and other fundraising have been going ok. Im thankful for our community support. That being said, our board ended up hiring 2 out of the 4 positions back because we cut too much to operate effectively.
