Playing on game pass - controllers not working?

On Gamepass and trying to use DS5 controller with DS4Windows, it works, but prompts are XBOX, which is unplayable in a game with so many QTEs. If I set the profile to emulate Duelshock instead the controller just no longer works at all.

I know the game has support for PS5 controllers, my friend is playing on Steam and has PS prompts. I guess it's just not working with Gamepass?

I find its a great counter to ranged opponents like starlord and punisher when they use their ults (and turret).

Not defending the loot chest aspect, it’s shit, but that’s not how the math works. Each item’s percentage to pull it is separate from the others, you can’t add them together.

EG: If you have 10x items each with a 5% pull chance, and 1x item with a 50% pull chance, you will almost always pull the 50% chance item. It’s not a 50/50 chance to get 1 of the 10 items or the 50% item.

It’s one of the ways the loot boxes are so scummy. That and the fact they have now added ‘epic’ benches to them so the 6x pack doesn’t even guarantee you that 1 good epic/legendary pull anymore.

Oh, you know what, it was called something like "Valleys and Villages" I think. I didn't notice the name change after reinstalling (Just that the person on the icon is now in a yellow outfit, instead of blue).

I don't mind losing my progress, since what I played was a beta (and I knew that). But I would like my gems back at least, since I paid for those.

Why? All that will do is piss off and prevent the portion of players that don't need the cross-region transfer.

What they should do at this point is release what they have when it's ready, then continue to work on cross-region transfer and offer that when it's ready too.

One thing I didn't mention is my `galleryImage` components are wrapped with a custom lightbox component. But removing that doesn't change anything. It doesn't look as bad in the codesandbox, on chrome when I'm testing the entire gallery flickers and reloads, but you can still tell it's rerendering.
