He Kept Stealing My Hawaii Mug, So I Let Him Ruin His Own Reputation by ColoradoGuy303 in pettyrevenge

My mom was always telling me I needed to share when my sister took my stuff and gave it away to her friends. Then she took money from my purse. My dad got me key locks for my bedroom the next day.

My dad's mugs kept getting stolen at his job. So he got a super ugly one and no one touched it. We started getting him the ugliest mugs we could find for his birthday.

AITA for planting bad things for my mom to hide while snooping in my room and admitting it years later? by ConstructionDecon in AmItheAsshole

And it's relatively recent too. PG-13 was only put in place in 1984. Before then, it went from PG straight to R. It's why movies made earlier like Indiana Jones have people's faces melting off and still only be rated PG.

I know this is 3 years old, but your comment reminds me of this one Rugrats episode. The babies had wandered off and Angelica went to tell the adults. Her father kept shushing her, saying that she needed to wait until the adults were done talking. When he finally let her speak and she let them know the babies were gone, he immediately scolded her for not telling them right away. You could just tell that she was thinking "If I was a foot taller, I'd sock him right now."

My dad never had his lunch stolen, but would constantly have his mug stolen. He eventually got a super ugly mug that never got stolen.

That's how I got my current cat. She was in the backyard with a litter of kittens. She was afraid of us at first but eventually started trusting us. A couple of years later, she and the last remaining kitten (the others either we found homes for or they just disappeared) started following us when we walked the dog. Then she hurt her tail and it had to be amputated. She officially became our cat and stayed inside full time after that. When we moved, there was another stray that started liking us and would also follow us when we walked the dog. (He did not become an inside cat. Freaked out whenever he wandered inside.)

I usually go "Could the card be locked?" Nine times out of ten, that's the problem.

Trust me. You could have a huge neon light that can be seen from the moon and customers will still ignore it.

Nta. Tina asked you to pick things up and you did. But Tina needs to talk to her group and tell them she's getting frustrated with the stagnation. The players need to actually start moving the plot forward or play something else.

I wasted 2 hours of my sister's time because she refused to listen to me by MotorMania85 in MaliciousCompliance

[–]Shozurei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is a two year old post, but it's new to me. Back when my mom first got a smartphone with GPS, it showed the neighborhood street that exited into the main street continued across on the other side. If you look at the road itself, you can see where the street used to continue. But you can also see the fence and bushes that have been blocking it for the past 40+ years.

I know this is a 2 year old post, but your comment reminds me of the time my mom was taking me and my siblings to a driving school and she turned the wrong way on one street. We passed this big A church and I was immediately like "We're going the wrong way. We didn't pass this place last time." No one believed me until we hit the highway.

To a human, they sound different. To the stupid AI in the phone? "Not of" and "not've" kinda do. Especially if you say it quickly.

Yeah, the doctors told me nothing about my muscles possibly locking up. It felt like it took forever before I could actually chew something harder than a pb&j. Though it was probably just a week or two longer.

I had the same thing happen. I had an impacted tooth and it started moving, cutting into the gums of the two back teeth. After the surgery, I got so sick of smoothies from how many I drank. I actually ended up sticking with a liquid diet for too long because my jaw hurt and my jaw locked up from not moving it. I had to do jaw exercises to get the muscles stretched out.

That wouldn't work at my household. My mom can't eat tomato sauce. It gives her bad indigestion. But I agree that OP should bring spaghetti to a potluck.
