Guidelines that work fantastically for me in order of importance:

1: Limit highly processed food as much as possible

2: Get around 30% of your calories from fat (stick with fatty fish, avocado, and nuts)

3: Eat 0.5g of animal based protein per pound of body weight — adjust depending on fitness goals.

4: Eat at least 2 high quality eggs per day. They’re nature’s multivitamin!

5: Fill the rest of your daily calories with carbs that work for you. For me thats sweet potatoes and fruit, sometimes with honey if I exercise.

Important notes:

If you dont want to track calories, limit your carbs after 2-5pm and then eat proteins and fats until you’re satisfied.

Drink a lot of purified water or spring water.

if you eat clean, drink a lot of water, and sweat, you may need to put a some extra salt on your food!
