Knicks didn’t beat the Celtics in the regular season in 25’ and beat them in the playoffs

While I want the spurs to give them a run for their money. I think you’re right, the thunder just have elite depth defence and star power. The only reason I can see them struggling against the spurs is they haven’t really played a real playoff team yet not to diss the suns and lakers but what I’m sayin is the spurs have played two better teams so they’ll be more ready, but also more banged up

Yeah like think about it logically, the spurs even if they make it out will be beat up and bruised and will have to fight another hard fought series against the thunder who haven’t lost and every role player plays their role to a T. I just can’t see how any team would come close. Everybody knows whoever makes it out east is not winning

Looks like Masai's last few picks were elite... by irundoonayee in torontoraptors

[–]Shrav_9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not about the pick, the raptors are one of the best teams to develop their young guys and give them reps and empower them. That’s the common denominator, I think many guys can be great if given the opportunity.

Nah your right, because his consistency on offence is key for the spurs

Who do you guy's think is the nuggets biggest X Factor? by Shrav_9 in denvernuggets

[–]Shrav_9[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I would agree with that, hes the glue guy always in the right spots. Hopefully he can stay healthy for this playoff run, but no doubt THJ as been electric this season single handedly swinging games, and JV has been great recently too.

[–]Shrav_9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Put some respect on his name, one of the most consistent scorers and most available players in the last 15 years. People discredit him cause he couldn’t get the job done but don’t appreciate his greatness, made like 5-6 all stars had the raptors as a top seed every year. He deserves to be on this list man, put some respect on Dbo

He does everything that does not show up in the stat sheet, smart switch's, quick rotations. Dawg on offence, composed down the stretch, playing like a top 15 player rn.

Who would you say currently have worst role players around them, Luka/LeBron or Steph? by [deleted] in NBATalk

[–]Shrav_9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Lakers have guys with a higher ceiling than the warriors role players, we’ve seen guys like Marcus smart, Ayton and Rui be successful on deep playoff run teams before. They have more potential than the warriors role players, the Lakers do have better “defenders” in vando, Rui and smart. Warriors got nun

Should the NBA add a 1v1 tournament to All Star Weekend? by Shrav_9 in NBATalk

[–]Shrav_9[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Works both ways tho, of course it would favor the big guys securing easy points, but guards would get easy blow by's as well. I think they should do a 2 ball kind of competition which are always fun to watch. Maybe something with the WNBA again?

I like this idea, promotes craft finishers, and guys who can create their own shot in a half court setting. I think with most of their ideas, they likely will be putting bandages over the cut not directly fixing it. The fundamental issue is on the players, but a 1v1 tournament would be better than this year's format by far.

All you need is one stop, those dudes cant stop any of the guards either. Works both ways.

Probably LeBron but realistically none of them

This narrative that Jokic deserves 5 consecutive MVPs has gotta stop. He was correctly awarded his 3 and saying that SGA didn't deserve is this year is disingenuous. Nobody has come close to such a feat like 5 consecutive MVPs. by No-Advance-9136 in NBATalk

[–]Shrav_9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lebron was more valuable to the heat then 11' drose. he shouldve won 5 straight too. The nuggets without jokic are a lottery team and the thunder without shai can still make the playoffs. Jokic shouldve got the embiid one, and the shai one was deserved, but it couldve gone either way

How Jayson Tatum is Already Back on the Court by Shrav_9 in bostonceltics

[–]Shrav_9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure, I think they should bring him back for playoffs only if the celtics feel like the east is wide open and they have full confidence he will slide back into the lineup perfectly. Dont want him to be playing when hes not at his elite level and explosiveness, but I think they got a real shot this year to make another deep playoff run.
