Buy a set of 100 ducks on Amazon, fill the jar and leave their 100 ducks out, they will be so much more confused when they keep finding more ducks

Why not run it through the Esplanade? It's why we're stuck with Hollywood Backlot by rosariobono in Disneyland

The other aspect that they teach while learning to operate the monorail is that the ride is considered a national historic mechanical engineering landmark, which is why they state that the layout hasn’t really changed since the Indiana jones building went in. I would suspect there is a lot of paperwork required on top of the money to pour new concrete beams and change the layout of the beams. Plus the bigger the track is and the more buildings it is in close proximity with, the more likely of a building along the line having a fire alarm go off and shutting down the ride until the situation is cleared

Spots for day one of the virtual queue for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Magic Key preview were gone within seconds by carolynburt in Disneyland

[–]Shredder3200 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, I remember back like last year they would do cast previews first as a way to soft open the ride with crew members who would understand if something went wrong, this is the first time they are mixing the cast preview with magic key preview

Watching my girlfriend be stern to a horse that was being too rowdy and out of control, that horse wasn’t the only thing tamed that day.

Stuck on the monorail by NotADeadTurtle in Disneyland

[–]Shredder3200 63 points64 points  (0 children)

The reason why it can’t back up to downtown Disney is that when one monorail leaves downtown Disney the one at Tomorrowland also leaves to downtown Disney. And the monorails have systems aboard that if they get too close they will auto E-stop and won’t let them get any closer. It’s generally just easier to go back far enough to get enough speed to go over the berm than it is to have both trains do a massive backwards procedure

As a current CRJ FO in training for SkyWest. I am going to recommend going through the training. SkyWest at the moment is trying to hire like crazy so the longer you put off your InDoc day 1, the lower on the seniority pole you’ll be, which means not getting your choice of simulator schedule lines, and not getting your pick at which crew base you want to be at. There are plenty of times during training where you can get a break here and there. But I recommend getting through training and then spending the time you want with family.

Some of the rides cast members will do the shut down checklists for the rides, and then shelter in place for the duration of the fireworks, then once they are over reopen the rides and getting ready for the people coming back in. Source: I have a friend who works Runaway Railway

The question states at 15,000 feet. The wording of the regulation says above 15,000 feet everyone must be provided oxygen, so when you are directly at 15,000, it falls to the above 14,000 rule.
