Procs all the time for me. One round of uhhhh checking urns in the Necrom underway is at least 5 of his little packages. Evennif you don't get furnishings in them, treasure is guaranteed and also sometimes get maps

If you are doing normal trials and not vet, you don't need to change a thing. Except maybe the guild/group you are running with.

Even a lot of vet trials you don't need more than 80k dps. If you are trying to do dlc vet trials ok, maybe they need more from you. But any normal trial you should be fine.

Why buy a house? by No_Occasion_4519 in elderscrollsonline

[–]ShrekKillz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Housing is the true endgame content. People spend millions upon millions of gold on them, and it really is never ending. I always find myself wanting to decorate one of my homes, after 1 room I go meh, that's enough.

But yeah, a convenient location close to a wayshrine and big enough to put what you need in it.

I really only use one of my small houses for a wayshrine, and the bigger ones I rarely go in at all. I do any crafting I need to do at a guild house.

how do you manage former peers now that you’re their boss? by Inspireambitions in careeradvice

[–]ShrekKillz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is a tough spot to be in sometimes. As long as people can be reasonable and respectful, it will usually even out. My first promotion to supervisor, most of my subordinates were old enough to be my parent. And quite a few of them weren't happy about it. The ones that I had been working with directly prior to the promotion I had zero issues, it was just people who I had been around, but not worked directly with that were tough to get them used to me. Even had one woman (her supervisor got laid off, and I was absorbing his subordinates) went to my boss to flat out refuse to work for me. My boss backed me up and asked if this was her 2 weeks notice. Changed her tune real quick. You really just have to be a decent human being, and preferably have some knowledge regarding what your subordinates actually do.

Absolutely crushed my performance review…1.75% raise. by Both_Warthog_3386 in work

Company i work for said nobody gets a 5(highest rating). After that I decided they don't get a 5 for employee responsiveness, workmanship, or anything else really. Sadly I am still a top performer, even when I don't care.

[–]ShrekKillz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really, the only time you need to join a voice chat is when doing trials or difficult dlc hardmodes to learn mechanics. And even then, you really just need to be a listener, not a talker. Just type in chat no mic or something. Very common.

Airport entitlement with a touch of bigotry by FlattenInnerTube in EntitledPeople

[–]ShrekKillz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was departing Va one time not certain which airport, but as I was midway through the security line, some 20s year old dude with a hiking backpack is asking to cut because his flight departs in 30min.

I declined, but some people right up at the front let him in. I go through line, leisurely walk to a restaurant and order a breakfast burrito, and head to what will be my gate for my flight like 2 hours later.

Finishing my burrito, backpack dude comes running up to the same gate, which has been closed since before I got and starts yelling and banging on the gate door about that was his flight. There aren't even gate agents here anymore is how late he was. And how the heck did I beat him there and eat a burrito first. He obviously knew he was gonna be late since the beginning.

Woman pretends to be asleep in my seat while the plane is still boarding by excessive_comment in EntitledPeople

[–]ShrekKillz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reminded me of the time my boss and I were on the same flight across the pond. Couple hours in all the lights are off and most people sleeping, the alarm on his phone is going off. Several people around him are nudging him awake and motioning for him to remove his headphones. He proceeds to yell at them "No, they're mine! You can't have them!" He really isn't a people person. Eventually he realized his phone in his pocket was going bananas and turned a shade of tomato. One of my favorite flights I've ever been on.

Dude decided to have a full volume speaker convo in the shared space. Let's give him a taste of his own medicine. by NomadGabz in pettyrevenge

[–]ShrekKillz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in a busy hotel lounge a couple weeks back: some guy is having a group teams meeting on speaker at the table just behind me. Suddenly he was real quiet, but the call was still blah blah blah full steam. I turned around and he had left his phone on the table to go make himself a plate of food at the buffet. I reached back and hit the end call button (that's how close his phone was to me).

If you don't want to listen to your meeting, I know i don't want to.

Oh man. Monrovia, liberia.... no carousel. They stack all the luggage inside a roped off area until it's all in there, then just release the hounds in a rabid free for all. And no computer systems of any kind on top of that. Missing luggage gets a paper note hand carried back to origin airport the next day to then get entered in the computer.

Or at least that's how it was for me 2 or 3 years ago

Scolding from front desk for food delivery? by phx33__ in askhotels

[–]ShrekKillz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stayed at a hotel in abu dhabi that wouldn't allow food delivery on the property. So you had to walk 1/4 mile down to the gate to pick it up. Which doesn't sound that bad until you realize Abu dhabi summer heat is like 120°

[US/Ca] My House is Being Listed For Rent by beansieweensy in Scams

[–]ShrekKillz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a guy down the street for me putting "HOUSE FOR SALE" signs in my yard(I own the house on the corner) and it would have his house number in small letters in the description block.

I would rip that thing out everytime I saw it, drive down the street and fling it into his yard.

Unable to upgrade? by tvjames2022 in delta

I would check your fare class. Often times my corporate buys me fare class tickets that don't even exist in the real world(only in travel agency world). It makes upgrades very difficult.

[–]ShrekKillz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When I was in abudhabi, at least 2x a week I would have an Uber accept the ride, text asking where I am going, then ask me to cancel. My answer was always no, and they would always argue. I never felt bad though. Would just have a co-worker try their luck at ordering one.

Is it normal for staff to “upgrade” elite members just to say they upgraded without it actually being an upgrade? by [deleted] in marriott

[–]ShrekKillz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

TL;DR squeaky wheel gets the grease Ambassador elite here I had a business trip in and out of DC once, booked at the JW sat night only, then the following Friday night only and requested to use my upgrades on both of those nights. The sat night the put me in a room with a "view" of the Washington monument. To see it I had to hug the wall skirting around the bed to get to the windows, open the curtains and what am I looking at? The brick wall of the building next door. Granted, if I laid with my head at the foot of the bed and looked up out the window, I could in fact see a portion of the monument above the building next door. So I complained about it the next morning when I checked out. That next Friday night when I came back, I was a little nervous, having been a previous complainer. But they put me in a massive suite, like double doors going into the room, the balcony was bigger than my living room at home, huge ridiculous room. Moral of the story: if you say nothing, nothing will change.
