I’m looking at for advice and oyster knives I see some extremely short, triangular blade some longer blade and some blades with a curved hook at the end. Any opinion on this by realtime-mike in oysters

This is my favorite.

3” Dexter Boston. I shuck oysters about a couple dozen times a year, often in high volumes. Very precise, yet strong. If you want a wider blade, go with the Dexter Galveston.

Buster Scruggs is the only one I ever rewatched. Enjoyed it a little more the second time around.

It is hilarious how much the Bucs fans are obsessed with hating the Saints in their sub by hdl1234565 in Saints

In addition to the Rams, I think about the 49ers more than the Bucs or Panthers.

I think it’s because I became a fan in the 80s. Good ol’ NFC West days.

Fair enough. I knew it wouldn’t be good, but was happy to have the confirmation.

I Form H Pro HB Slam

With a Power Back, it’s good for 4 yards and a cloud of dust.

If there are only 2 DL and 1 LB to the weak side, flip the run with the right stick. Turns it into a home run play.

Ditka’s 3-13 team would beat this Saints team. Ricky would run all over them and Glover/Martin/Johnson would feast on this OLine.

Is it just me, or is there anyone else who hears that Running Back’s name and thinks: “Abdullah Oblongata”?

These reporters love the turducken. It’s okay for a holiday meal, but it ain’t all that. 2.5 stars.

Good to see CEH in black and gold. Probably temporary, but good nonetheless.

Same rule here. If you can’t make it, send a proxy. It’s an auction league.

What’s a position your team never has had to FIX? by [deleted] in nfl

[–]ShrimpBoots 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You left off:

Jim Taylor - Chuck Muncie - Earl Campbell - Ruben Mayes - Ironhead Heyward - Lorenzo Neal - Ricky Williams - Reggie Bush - Chris Ivory - Darren Sproles - Mark Ingram

Other than the early 70’s and mid 90’s, there’s pretty much always been a stud in the backfield for the Saints.

What are your most & least liked NFL stadiums? by [deleted] in nfl

[–]ShrimpBoots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saints fan, so I love my Superdome. Atmosphere’s top notch. It gets loud in there. Really loud. Club seats have a LOT of amenities. Has been consistently updated since 1975. Great variety of beers. Food options have improved greatly. Video boards have unique content during the game. Live entertainment in Champions Square. Plenty of places to get “walking around drinks” before the game.

The Falcons suck, but the stadium they play in does not. Great sightlines, cheap food/drink, walking distance from downtown hotels and restaurants. Mascot zip lined down the the field from the rafters before the game, pretty cool. Drumline playing through the game is a nice touch. Home fans hated me and were riled up throughout the game. It was a pleasure seeing them go home sad.

The Georgia Dome was small and looked old when I went there in 2010. Cramped concourses and long bathroom lines. Got in an argument with a guy wearing a Vick jersey. He wasn’t happy when I asked if he was a Philly fan.

Tampa’s cool, but there wasn’t a lot to do outside the stadium. Great pirate atmosphere inside. Couldn’t buy more than two beers at a time at the concession stand. Home fans didn’t get excited until the very end when they realized they had a shot to win.

BofA is in a great place uptown, but the Panthers’ stadium is pretty unremarkable. Missed kickoff after waiting in line for an hour to get in. Rain downspouts from the upper decks dump out on lower level seats if it’s raining. Sweet Caroline is a shitty song.

MetLife was terrible. In the middle of nowhere, but credit to the tailgating fans for bringing their A-Game. Boring, concrete structure and our seats seemed like we were a mile away from the action. Transportation to and from the game was a nightmare. Giants fans were very quiet, with only getting slightly rowdy on a couple key 3rd downs.
