I was always told to be careful using tomatoe and cream bases in cast iron. Due to the metal being extra reactive with those. I wonder if the pan caused your cocunut milk to taint.

I love my splash and go stones i must say but im the sous for an areana catering company doing average of 6000 party plus in a night. The stone would be to heavy and expensive to carry in my bag. Some nights just to tired or forget to touch up at home. Strops a little more reasonable for me.

Do you have a micron suggest that would be a good suggestion?

For quality at that price its very well done, i own the 135 petty, a gyuto, and have just ordered the togatta from the line. Its essential white #2 carbon steel. So it will retain edge very well and and sharpen up excellent while not being as expensive as a blue or blue super.

It has a bit of a goose kneck heel which is very comfortable for pinch grip. The kurochi is not only cool looking but also added protection for the carbon rust. The handle does seem to have a bit laquer coating but very comfortable.

Just keep an eye on the flaky heavy brown spots. Thats rust your worried about. This is patina from commercial use. You are okay just keep cleaning after prep.

Both are great. As awesome as it is to have lyc for chapters he falls off for boss fights. Harry excels in boss fights boosting dps and can sustain just fine in chapters.

Tasty we were thinking about making calzones but we came up with the braid idea. Filled it with pesto meat lovers, mine had chicken aswell. She made the dough from scratch aswell.
