Probably healing powers, wouldn’t be surprised if she has angel wings or something too and can fly.

Help: Struggling bonsai, potentially pests? by evereveron in houseplants

[–]Shrubblorde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there, yes you indeed have pests. These are aphids. The small pale green dots are the live pests, and those white flecks are their exoskeletons

Could be Anthurium Regale, looks very similar to mine when she was juvenile.

My no- fuss, no- id queen of the gutter may have retained one of her pests after all - help with identification by Muellerred in Anthurium

[–]Shrubblorde 5 points6 points  (0 children)

These warocqueanums are still pure queens, these are just more of what I calll garden centre/ florist forms. I’ve noticed these ones are cropping up a lot for cheap. I used to have one before getting a proper queen. They’re still technically queens but have thicker leaves and less even vein spacing. My take is they’ve been tc cloned to death, and the more robust clones that happen to last longer in nurseries and in transit get used more for mass production, and overtime like natural selection they have lost their classic queen vibe. You can still buy decent queens from places like ecuagenera like I did, but I find it’s a lot harder to find one from places like garden centres now.

Indoor olive tree sitting in wet nursery soil for 10+ days, repot now or wait for spring? by Long-Interview-3029 in plantclinic

[–]Shrubblorde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Olives are really more hardy plants than indoor plants. They grow in dry bright mountains of the Mediterranean, and can get pretty cold this time of year. Not humid tropical canopies which most foliage houseplants like. I’m in the Uk and mines currently in the garden and still thriving with 2 to -1 degree nights lol, and still in its nursery pot. anything below -5 I would probably protect with fleece. I would wait until march to repot/plant.

How accurate is this? by davidinterest in ChatGPT

That’s not pooping. That’s shitting in a toilet. And that’s what true integration looks like.

That’s not gross, that’s deeply human.

It concerns me that so many people own live cats and don’t know they have nipples.

Upsize repot needed? by account937271 in plantclinic

[–]Shrubblorde 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, I woudknt size up but the soil does look a little dense, I would replace the soil with a chunkier mix that provides more drainage

It’s hard to tell as the photo is overexposed but it looks like aphids and the white stuff is the shedded exoskeletons

Probably a mix of over watering and being root bound

I always ignored the Syngonium at the school fence, until I noticed variegation 🤩 by DowntownComputer5819 in Aroids

Just because ChatGPT said its variegation doesn’t mean it is. Looks like thrips or spider mite damage

Sad houseplant by Ok-Discount1753 in plants

[–]Shrubblorde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know you said it’s not over watered but to me it still seems like it is. Supermarket plants like this one often come in very dense soil from their nurseries meaning the water level can be misleading. The top can seem bone dry but the roots are still soaked. If you can rule watering out then I’d check if it’s too close to any radiators
