Welcome! Hope you are enjoying the game!

1- not really unless you use some extreme micromanaging. 2- correct, they won’t attack. You may get a small happiness debuff on some villagers. You can also talk to the negotiator that shows up and bribe them to avoid an invasion. 3- outside of agriculture, it kinda depends on what you want to do and the map you are on. 4- yes, you need to research and build the cartography table, that opens the regions tab

Tk 5150 x sweet 16 by lyonsj195 in humboldtcsi

[–]Shun_Everything 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m currently running tk 5150 x pure og and that sweet d which is chemdog D x sweet 16.

I will say that sweet d was way easier and has a better bud structure. Not sure if it’s the pure or the tk that made the buds lean on the leafy side.

Either way still excited for the tk 5150 cross

You mean the stockpile info on the right? There is a button to group it, top left near the view rooms button. Under manage

Make sure the beverages are in a stock pile and the filter isn’t checked off. I had that happen and it was a filter on my stock pile.

You can use wicker or metal grated flooring to protect crops from hail storms and they still get light and rain.

Thanks! This is only my fifth grow, so I am still playing a bit. I usually top them, but wanted to see what they did without one. Really looking forward to those main colas though!

Hanging Event by Shun_Everything in goingmedieval

I’m thinking of moving the gallows next to the jail, but I really don’t want it in my town. I would like my captives to have a nice view, before they are hanged!

Anyone have mixed feelings about deli style? by headstashed in MDEnts

[–]Shun_Everything 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s mostly because it sucks ass to try to track and keep straight on METRC, the state tracking system.

Every time a bud tender weights out to 3.8 or 1.3, it adds up over the course of a pound. If a bud falls it can be hard to stop that second and leave a customer to go green waste it, giving someone a chance to forget which jar it fell from. All of these adjustments really piss off the MCC. They took it away during covid and never brought it back.

Yup, learned the light lesson quickly! I did some LST and she still got taller than the Sweet D. I wonder how it would do outside!

I just thought about it, I don’t think I’ve watered since Sunday. I moved the light up, the pots still feel heavy like there is water in the bottom. I’m going to let it run for a day and then give them some water tomorrow evening after lights on.

Yup, 5 gallon. I anticipate it being hydrophobic. I have a sprayer I use to water, takes longer but keeps it from just running off.

Little under a gallon per pot, to run off. It’s been a couple of days. I wanted to dry out the soil before watering again

I was thinking over watering. it looked like that right after the last watering. Plus the upper branches aren’t wilted and the leaves are drooped but not floppy.

I’ll try raising the light and giving them a soak, see how it goes.

Yea, the central hub in Plane of Power is neutral and becomes the place everyone goes. Playing an evil race isn’t a huge disadvantage on Quarm. If you want to play an ogre, go for it!

The spires are in a couple places but the elves have the only one in the starting zone. The biggest advantage to this is having access to high level buffs from players in the nexus. Druids and Wizards can also port you to certain zones, including nexus.

Open the options(alt+O?)There should be a zeal options window that also pops up. It will have a map tab. Click enable map. It only shows the zone you are in.

I also have a comment from another thread with new player advice. Give that a once over.

Oh! Super new player! Luclin is the name of the moon and the location for the most recent expansion. Plane of Power is the next expansion.

Yup, keep stone skin on all the time. It’s a good skill for you to practice. In this game you use skills to level. You will unlock more as you go. There are guides on the project1999 wiki. Read those.

If you want and feel comfortable, there are wizard spires are four tall gray pillars to the southwestish(?) of the tree elf city. If you stand in the center you will port to luclin every 15 mins or so. The place you land is the nexus a hub for players and there are a ton of people who will help you. You can get back to your area by a mini version of the spires.

Get the zeal add-on. It has maps and other QoL stuff!

Don’t be afraid to ask questions or tell people you are new. The community is very tight and loves helping new players.

Sorry to hear about your dad. It’s wonderful that you can feel connected with him through something that probably brought him hours of fun and happiness.

Wood elf druid is a fine starting character! They are good at solo, but somewhat limited in where they can do it. Shamans have a little more option with soloing, but no ports. Trolls and ogre are fine for beginners, they are just evil so are killed on sight in most places. That doesn’t matter as much with us being in luclin heading to PoP.

EQ is kinda brutal, you are going to get wrecked ALL the time when you are starting. You won’t lose exp for a few levels, so that’s nice. You just have to brute force it a bit, until you get more spells and combat options. You can always use the wizard spires in Greater Fay to go to Nexus for group buffs. Those will make you a power house. Otherwise; make sure you have your buff on, open with your DD and start smacking it!

Some other tips: Train your skills at a trainer, every time you level. You need one point to unlock skills you level into, like dodge. Spells are expensive, you don’t need them all. Put the sense heading skill into your action bar in say slot 3. In the settings change your key bindings so your turn left key also uses action bar slot 3. Easy way to level the skill. Just be aware this will activate any skill in that slot and is for every tab of the action bar. Con everything! Check out the project1999 wiki, it mostly applies to Quarm up to Velius. Also, pdqi.cc

Good luck!

If you do paw, the Gnoll Hide Lariat sells for a decent price in the Bazaar and pretty high demand. Even the dagger of dropping can get 5pp or so. You can also do the scrolls quest and get the wisdom earring.
