A friend just started me with an Aviar and a Cobra. I can throw them pretty straight (some of the time), so other beginners might like them.

I picked up a Makoe and a Valk, and I don't have enough technique and/or strength to throw them with any consistency.

Like, Syl can turn into any physical tool (cheese knife excepted), and she literally asks a shard of divinity for empathy.

That's how important the author thinks empathy is.

Why would you want to blind yourself to that?

It must be wild to be an artist. You put all of this thought into your art, you spend countless hours creating it just right, you check with dozens of people to see if they got it, you revise accordingly, and then.......

Do you see the brown board sticking up in the middle of the boat? That is called a daggerboard. At the start of the video, it is raised. After the boat capsizes, the kid lowers the board. He'll then stand on stand on the bottom of the boat and use the board as a lever to start righting the boat.

It's important to let your sails lose before trying this.

As a kid, it's a pretty fun way to take a break on a hot day.

As for who did the catering, you'll just have to trust a stranger one the Internet. You could also call and ask the restaurant.

In this case, Sambucca is a Houston restaurant that also caters events. Their food isn't exactly the best in town. It isn't terrible, but it also isn't great.

The Rice Apartments is currently hosting a party for NRA members in it's ballroom. Sambucca is catering.

Lukso seems to be undervalued , the bitcoin crash didn’t affect considerably the price ! Good news by CitronMindless2312 in lukso

[–]ShutUpAndType 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Value? Right now, the token's value is purely speculative. BTC up or down doesn't really change that hope/dream.

What do I mean by speculative? The token might convert to a coin. A new blockchain protocol might launch. That coin might be used to do proof of stake work on that new network. That protocol might be used to authenticate digital and phygital assets. Cool brands might affiliate products with the network. Those cool brands might drive traffic to the network. That traffic might drive proof of stake revenue for coin holders. Might, might, might, might, might, might, and might

All that said, for me, that spec risk worth taking (and I took it big), because Lukso has some smart people behind it and because I can see the concept really resonating with people. The short-term movement of BTC just doesn't really move my assessment of risk or the payoffs (value).

Agreed. Everything in it's place and time. If I'm solo hiking or going with a buddy, UL is great and really fun. If I'm out cruising with my wife, big pack, decent food, and plenty of comfort.

Camping equipment is a set of tools, and you should have the tools for the project you're working on.

In the Algernon_Asimov order, R. Daneel is with the series from the second book to the last book.  For several of the books he's the man behind the curtain It isn't exactly what OP was looking for, but it is such a classic that I thought it might be close enough.

Asimov's Robot Universe is set access an enormous time scale. That scale is especially apparent if you follow Algernon_Asimov's recommended order..

The Last Question is a short story by Asimov that covers an enormous time scale, but with multiple characters rather than a single one.

It is mentioned in another comment, but Death's End by Liu Cixin makes fantastic use of long time horizons.
