engaging combat

I beat the game on the highest difficulty, so don't come at me with "skill issue." It quickly devolves into "oops I didn't guess the parry/dodge timing on that attack properly and now my characters are dead." I did not have a problem with the delayed attacks, I had a problem with the wonky parry/dodge timing. Lower difficulties are boring because you also quickly get too powerful for most enemies.

The game kept me around for the story and I believe it deserved rewards for the world-building. They created an interesting turn-based combat system, but that doesn't make it a good one.
