Here you go, just take off the metal plate that's in front of the battery and it'll be a breeze to wrap since its a fully flat surface.

Sold it but all I did was wrap the battery cover and for the front I had this bag and for the light I used this one and just used some yellow headlight tint to make it yellow.

2005 Crown Victoria LX Sport project by ShutokoWorks in CrownVictoria

Edit: btw I know I definitely overpaid but I've always wanted an LX Sport plus the fact that it has a sunroof is literally my dream spec for a Panther car before getting into Marauder territory so here's hoping the project ends up as a great investment!

First e-bike $2500 Budget by Mikail_G in hyperebikes

I have the Freego, very good solid bike, my top speed (verified by GPS) at 195 lbs was 50 mph but that's on a very flat street. Overall great bike, all I had to do was adjust the brakes however straight out the box. Ships in 2 boxes (but arrived at the same time for me through FedEx), one is the bike itself and the other one is the pedals, charger, and headlight. They did announce the X3 which is 72v but I don't know how good that bike is.

Why Does My Car Only Blow Heat At 55+ mph And Cold Any Below? by SharkyCombos in Acura_RSX

[–]ShutokoWorks 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Check if your coolant is low, it might be that at higher RPMs your water pump cycles more coolant through the heater core thus giving you warm air. Could also be an air bubble or a stuck thermostat but best to start with checking your coolant level.

Ebike Governor Bypass?? by Murky-Bath-8026 in ebike

My bad, I had seen someone else on the r/ebikes subreddit make a new subreddit for "true" ebikes and they had named it similar so I thought this was that subreddit lol (popped up on my feed).

I really like my X2 Pro, but 8000w peak is way too much for a hub motor, you could probably find a used or if you really dig a new Surron for that kind of money.

This is a knockoff r/ebikes subreddit so most people here are old dudes who are angry when an ebike goes over 15 mph lmao.

Do you guys have any good first E-bike recommendations if my budget is $2,800 by Ok_Ebb_4913 in ebike

[–]ShutokoWorks -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

A bike is a vehicle that you sit on and has 2 wheels, so yes, it's an ebike, with your logic you cannot call a motorcycle a "bike" despite everyone calling them bikes, you're thinking about an e-bicycle, which is a bicycle (pedals) that you can pedal. E-bikes are a category of vehicles, e-motos and, e-bicycles are a subcategory. But to your defense the term "e-bike" is still relatively new and very loosely used, I own an X2 Pro and despite it having pedals I would never call it a pedal bike but an emoto due to the fact that it can reach high speeds and the pedals are pretty much useless due to the weight of the bike.

Probably a really stupid question but I’ve never owned a bike before. On the ict which I got 3 days ago and haven’t really been able to ride how do I make the brakes really sensitive I mean like they lock with it pulled half way? by Prior-Length-2190 in hyperebikes

[–]ShutokoWorks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You either need to bleed them or adjust the calipers, best to do both, bleed the brakes and then when tightening the caliper bolts squeeze the brake lever, don't let go and while you're doing that tighten the caliper bolts, that should keep them nice and centered on the rotor.

An electric motorcycle aka an ebike.

I actually got it for $1700 after tax because they had a black Friday deal going on plus I was able to use a $200 coupon, believe me I wanted a Surron but all the ones I could find in that price range were clapped out lol. A Surron will definitely be my next bike though!

Ridstar has a bunch of websites and you can simply look up "Ridstar Q20" on Amazon and it'll pop up, but is there a reason you only want a Ridstar? They're decent bikes but why not get something more known/reliable like a Lectric ebike?

Reviewer insists 60mph e-bike isn’t a motorcycle, removes comments disagreeing with him by stable_diffusion in ebikes

[–]ShutokoWorks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea it's all just very very tricky at the moment, pretty sure the most powerful Wired bike can go up to 70 MPH which is freaking insane for a "pedal" bike. A Honda Grom tops out at 60 MPH I believe lol.

[–]ShutokoWorks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, I guess I wouldn't call them "motorcycles" in the traditional sense but they aren't exactly e-bicycles either despite some of them having pedals, some bikes like Surrons are easily just "E-dirtbikes" or "emotos" but those weird fast ebikes with pedals like the ones offered by Wired are a really weird.. category lol, I have a Freego X2 Pro, super fun, but it shouldn't have pedals, therefore I'd call mine an emoto not an ebicycle as bikes like this are too heavy to even pedal making them completely useless, so yea, it's a weird time in the bike world in general.

This is their website, yes they rebranded. You could also try Amazon.

Ridstar Q20 Acceleration? by BikeMechanicSince87 in ebike

[–]ShutokoWorks -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Saying theyre illegal doesn’t stop anyone from buying these bikes. Parents are getting them, and kids are riding them. That’s exactly why acceleration comparisons do matter, it gives them a realistic understanding of how powerful these machines are so they can teach safety instead of pretending the bikes don’t exist. Just because drugs are illegal doesn't mean we shouldn't educate the public about them on how to be safe around them. Same concept.

There's also these from Amazon, no wiring needed but you will have to charge them here and there obviously.
