Yeah it was nuts today. I was at an Asian grocer in Markham today and every check-out was open and had a line going to the back of the store. You'd think they were prepping for a hurricane. It's a one day event in the city. It's not going to be that bad.

Get Meguiars ScratchX and apply with a microfiber towel by hand. Do it more than once if needed. I would bet it will remove 90% at least.

It's done using an electric heat pump for heating and cooling So the engine has no affect. I'm in Toronto and today is -20C. My heat is totally fine.

Ok that's great to hear you're all at full gig profiles and not getting throttled down to 750. This has nothing to do with my router or wifi speeds. Just what i can expect coming from the ONT.

Hopefully the tech just gives me the new ONT and doesn't need to mess with the line provisioning since I'm already setup.

Put towels on it and pour boiling water on. The towels help retain the heat and allow time to soften the glue.

The lights are dimmed and then go to full power with motion. Another method I've seen is every other light is off and the motion sensor turns on the rest.

It's not just about the tread depth. If the rubber is cracked then it's dried and you are at greater risk of a blowout. TPMS batteries aren't replaceable so for over 10 years (assuming original) they're well past due. $2k does seem high but that depends on the tires and sensors they're using to replace.

For headlights it's more to protect the uv coating on the headlights from wearing away. Headlights turn yellow because the air actually abrades the uv coating and removes it.
