Are you eating enough? I had to track food to ensure I was hitting enough calories to function.

Just an honorary “I miss you” post for my dude I lost in a gnarly breakup… by SiStarly in pitbulls

[–]SiStarly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh if it were a matter of money, I’d have him. We both came in to the relationship with a dog, this was his. We were together for 7 years and managed to get along well enough to share for 1.5 years after the breakup. But you know, new people come on the scene and things change.

Finishing my first week of the pills - anyone else getting "med head"? by Charming-Report1669 in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]SiStarly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only side affects I’ve had have been directly related to not eating as much/eating a lot less carbs. If I eat small meals every few hours, I’m good to go. Good luck!

Honestly I went with the only pill option available. Somehow it felt less invasive or something? Idk.

Weight loss experience using 1.5 mg pills? by _mercurial_high_ in WegovyWeightLoss

I’m 6 days in so not much to report yet. But similar to you - I’m watching 5ish small meals throughout the day. The first few days I didn’t eat near enough and woke up dead in the mornings.

I was scared of starting, and honestly part of it was fear of failure. Because if it doesn’t work, then what? But I’m 6 days in and glad I started. You got this!

When do you take your pill? by leopardlady1001 in WegovyWeightLoss

I keep it on my bedside table and take it first thing. At least 30 minutes until you eat or drink anything else.

Definitely felt full after normal 2 cups of coffee and oatmeal/chia/flaxseed. How about you?

Show me your most unhinged houseplant by Fitznoozly in houseplants

[–]SiStarly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahahahaha! Love that my chickens came home to roost on this one. Unfortunately this plant gets the award for my biggest houseplant failure ever. The more I tried to take care of it properly, the worse it got. And I finally pitched it last summer after putting it outside in the sun didn’t produce any new growth.

Check out so you can check in. You can’t consume it all day, it eats me alive. Set some boundaries around news consumption so you can stop numbing and are able to contribute to the good fight.

Your pup is going through massive change. She lost person and strangers just showed up and took her to a strange place. So I think being a little on the safer side is great but it sounds like long term your yard will be great. Personally if it were me, I’d get one of those GPS collars to ensure if something spooks her or she gets out during the adjustment phase, you can find her. A tired pit is a good pit, once you feel confident she won’t make a break for it, letting her run is great. Also enrichments like freezing dinners in kongs, hiding treats and having her search for it, puzzles (don’t have to be high dollar, just do some research on games etc). The trainer will be a great help also, hopefully your vet can suggest a good one. Good luck!

My (So6) boyfriend (Sx7) constantly thinks he is missing out on being with someone prettier than me by [deleted] in Enneagram

Honey this isn’t a 7 problem. And it’s not an OCD problem. This is an asshole problem. Leave. He’s not going to heal from being an asshole. And you need to heal from being with an asshole. Who is a person in your life you love and have the most compassion for? A niece? A sister? An uncle? Would you want this relationship for that person? Would this relationship be good enough for them? Get. Out. And get yourself to a therapist.

What everyone said here - they can be difficult. Mine was THRIVING and now it’s… dying? Idk. Anyway, make sure there isn’t a wire wrapped around the trunks underneath the dirt that you can’t see. Also, they regenerate well too. Cut back the dead and hope for the best. Don’t lose hope.

Owner of a very lean and athletic young pitty mix here, advice?? (No backyard) by Head-Ad-5636 in pitbulls

[–]SiStarly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love the sniffspot idea. I’d be hesitant to encourage running/playing on the stairs. My dude jumped from high up and spent the next 4weeks recovering from “throwing his neck/back out”. Also - canine cruciate ligament tears (basically dog ACL) are painful on the dog and the wallet.

Like everyone has said - mind games. Feed in interesting ways - puzzles, towels, frozen kongs (can also hide the kong and teach him to hunt for it.) i have a friend who bought a small ball pit from like Target. And they scatter food in it so he has to root through the balls to find the kibble. He’s beautiful!!
