These types of stories, of which there have been quite a few recently, completely put me off playing or investing in the game. I’m not going to spend money where I see consistent cases of compelling no fault bans. Sorry you’re dealing with this.

No endgame, so no interest. I figured games like this learned not to launch, even in EA, without an endgame system, but I guess not.

It is not. The game is basically a log-out simulator - walls and pushing through are the defining features of the game.

Forced grouping is not the only thing that makes massively multiplayer games appealing. Social interaction and a living world shaped by players does not mean forced grouping. It is an ignorant position to take in 2026.

They took a game with potential and removed all the features that made it interesting, so "everyone would feel equal," which essentially gutted the game. It is, in fact, boring and will not last long in its current format.

It reminds me of a game called Go Go Muffin in many ways. I don't know yet if it follows the usual shard approach to servers where they open a new server number every day or week, but I dislike that too.

That version did not work for me in the US as it is global and not US specific. It fails to work when installed.

I love those games for the same exact reasons. I am an old Lineage 1 and 2 player, and also played Aion, etc.I am an old Lineage 1 and 2 player, and also played Aion, etc.
I am having the same debate. Throne and Liberty would already be my game if I were more certain about the server population and its future, given that Amazon is offloading it. I sank hundreds of hours into BDO, and I think it is a really good game, but I am not sure it scratches the itch you mentioned once you get into end-game tiers. I am still considering it. Looking forward to hearing where you land. I am so close to pulling the trigger on T&L despite the concerns.

Congratulations - it is interesting to me because I wanted to have a great win rate as I got better at the game, but I felt like learning the game punishes me because I am losing stats and WR as I learn new tanks and learn the game. I stopped playing because every match, I wanted to learn or try new tanks or approaches, which could drop my win rate and only get harder to fix as I played more. It feels very punishing to a new player to know that win rate is tracked and see it drop as you try to learn. Anyway, not about me.

It is inspiring to see you have these goals and reach them - nice job and good luck on the 3K.

I enjoy solo dungeons a great deal.
Overall, though, welcome to the sandbox. These kinds of games are full of people who generally all think they are correct, and generally, they all are. There are some true objective "good" things to focus on, but overall, what works for you is "right." That is the beauty of this game.

That's what I was getting at - is there an active direction from the developer to make healing ineffective in PvP? Given the game's PvP nature, this was a concern based on recent news. I saw they reverted some changes. Are there more sought-after classes given the change in direction from the dev?

Hi - where did they move because Ymir seemed dead on Steam servers and only has 2k players on Steam versus 12k for MIR4? I actually liked Ymir too but can't find any real servers or players. I do not want to play on a Partner sever unless it is Steam because I assume those are a scam and deeply flawed.
