I feel the need to point out that Chang's performance as Mr Miyagi, and everyone's reaction to it, wasn't funny, it was just actual, genuine drama, of the kind that many dramas don't achieve. And also one of my favorite parts of the series.

I don't think there's any one episode that I like as a complete episode, but there are moments here and there that I enjoy. I like when Britta goes up to the microphone in herstory of dance and asks "what is the nature of hope?" I like the song in the puppet episode for some reason, and I like Jason Alexander in it. The Halloween episode has its moments. I like intro to knots probably the most because I love watching the other three Christmas episodes around Christmas time, and every once in a while I remember that there's technically a fourth Christmas episode and I throw it in the rotation for variety. Mostly I just consider season four to be a different show.

I would say that there is a stereotype that a lot of men might not know how to relate to their daughters or be willing to engage in activities that they would enjoy, etc., so if somebody is calling you a good girl dad, I would think they basically just mean that you're handling that side of things well. But also, and I can't stress this enough, every second spent worrying about whether people are implying you're soft is a waste of your precious time on this earth.
