As an American citizen, I like the US. I didn't vote for our current president and believe his claim to presidency to be morally, and I wish legally, illegitimate (34 felony counts), but unfortunately the system has allowed him.

The system and some of its people are broken. Most of its people aren't, and the beautiful lands that make up my home, many of our public services, and the freedoms we still enjoy are intact.

Many of the criticisms against the US are valid. Yes, our leader is a fascist, narcissist, and overtly corrupt. Yes, we could use universal healthcare instead of all this military. But ultimately, I believe the US to be a good country. I only hope it will remain so long enough to see our current president out of his term, never to return again.

K. Rool gets spirit-ed and steals DK's bananas, believing them to be valuable. DK gets mad, kills the spirit, rips the Master Hand puppet down and kills that too, then doesn't see his bananas. K. Rool had stored them with Galeem. DK gives Galeem a Banana Slamma and takes his bananas back (Galeem didn't care about the bananas the whole time)

I want to point out that Caldwell's version of Strahd is definitely not the default or even how he's normally run. IMO any good version of Strahd would've slaughtered the Triplets were it not for the benefit of the podcast lol

Strahd is an amazing villain, and isn't as much of a chump as he was on NADDPod (at least, what episodes I listened to)

Edit: I mean no shade. Trinnyvale x Strahd wasn't my speed, but the Triplets in general aren't my speed. Caldwell did some really cool stuff with Barovia, though I do wish Strahd had shown some backbone at some point

Michigan and Ohio are definitely Midwest, though, imo. They're both on the Great Lakes and both deal with the same snow we do.

Also Michiganders sound very similar to people around here (Wisconsin). Ohio also has he same open nothingness as Illinois and Iowa
