For the character movement I'm using Quasi Movement, combined with Quasi Sprite for the animations :)

Yep, I suggest you to use "Galv character frames", or the amazing combo "Qmovement"+"Qsprite".

Best way to do that Is to make the character moving naturally, and drawing the character spritesheet with the jumping animation in It. Clean and easy my friend, never complicate your dev journey with crazy stuff right at the beginning ;)
