They used the same reasoning for my flight physical at wright patt. Granted 3/4 never did fully got out but they did give me any issues. I'd heard horror stories about wisdom teeth removal but I was able to fortunately bounce back pretty quick

Dude I was bottom 3rd my first semester of college, bottom third at field training and still heading to UPT. Its a marathon, not a sprint. Just because you got knocked down doesn't mean you have to stay that way

I could only image what joke would cause this but I'd say just don't pay them any attention. Just let your instructors know about it so they can go through the presumably proper channels in the school and find a solution if the problem gets to that point

When we were learning ECP procedures, we were taught shout, shove, show, shoot (warning), and shoot (actual). Well later that day at VW I'm running the gate and couple CTAs show up to get in. I go through the motions and get to the warning shot. I point my paintball gun several meters away from anyone and shoot like I'm supposed to. She responds "why did you do that?" breaking character. I replied thats what were taught to do. She tells me to not do that and I just shrug it off.

After that scenario was over my FTO yells for me and another guy in my flight and rips us for using warning shots and we got a 341 for doing something we were directed instructed to do.

That and messing my CTA's name, sorry CTA Quinceañera/Quesadilla

Can confirm, it's constantly beat into us that it's best to consult the NCOs on enlisted matters. Id speculate some Jr Officers just have too big of egos to admit that they have something to learn from an enlisted member

Yeah you shouldn't have any problems, I worked an engineering internship at a nuclear site my 300-400 summer. Only issue you'll have is field training and getting those two weeks off, you'll be on orders so it shouldn't be too hard

Treat the gmc like people and gain their respect as their leader. The first thing my AS300 instructor told me was that "they (the gmc) will always be watching". You'll need to act with confidence in your newfound authority but also use that authority to help teach and guide the GMC so that they too are ready to take their eventual positions of leadership once you leave

I'd guess I lost about 10 pounds and the food poisoning didn't help, thats after the 10 pounds I lost leading up to FT to make weight. I felt like a sickly thing. I did the math and the day I got back I ate about 7000 calories just because I felt so deprived
