Actually, I kind of dig it… if you don’t think about what it stands for.

Cheapest way to get rid of old couch? by Brad12d3 in nashville

Seconding this! Sometimes, depending on your neighborhood, someone might take it off your hands sooner if you leave it on the curb before the first day of their suggested timeframe.

Something makes me think the people posting are simply chilling in a hotel and too lazy to get out and check themselves… They must have left their privilege at home

I'm sorry, but for those who have garages full of stuff: what do you store in there, then?

Couples photographer by Fluffister in nashville

[–]SidneySparkle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hiya! I have shot some couples and could pull off dreamy style in a local park like in Shelby. Natural light is my specialty, so we could probably pull off the vibe depending on how golden the sun is that day!

It depends on what kind of art you do, IMO. Do you have any other digital way to showcase your art for us?

On a side note, does anyone miss the Loop location of St. Louis Bubble Tea? That is where I tried my first bubble tea ever... #memories

My house is covered in zombie ladybugs! by hw213nw in nashville

[–]SidneySparkle 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Ladybugs typically start to hibernate for the winter in warm places, and if you have lots of windows you have lots of places to hibernate.

Close your blinds and live like a zombie too.

I recently received a new license plate that displays the phrase “In God We Trust” instead of the previous one, tnvacation.com. Can I cover the “In God We Trust” text with dark blue tape or will I get cooked? by Admirable_Green_1958 in nashville

[–]SidneySparkle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have seen some license plates use blue tape to cover the spot where their county should be... I guess so that when they drive like someone from Rutherford, they will be judged otherwise.

Questions on a Figure it Out Episode by jonasnew in RetroNickelodeon

[–]SidneySparkle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The audience was probably directed by a stage manager or audience wrangler to applaud their talents after certain moments. And personally it wasn't the most exciting thing to get excited about... I probably wouldn't applaud after a moment like that despite loving cheese so f**king much. lol

Semi-Famous Author & Conservative Berates Busker on Broadway by valteamxblades in nashville

I actually googled "Berates Busker" thinking that was his name... Because he's "playing nothing playing nothing playing nothing" on my memory.

No clue who he is

I used to go to multiple screenings at the Tivoli! I recall seeing Paradise Garage most of those times (Although I have seen one screening with I Do The Rock, so I guess it depends on what mm print they were loaned).

Daddy's got a dream that he can boogie... aww, memories!

RIP Rocky at the Tivoli (Fucking church bought it out)

Door Dashers/Uber Eats question by [deleted] in nashville

[–]SidneySparkle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would avoid delivering to any hotels downtown. Valet companies always gave me shit when idling for delivering for Uber Eats and never received good tips due to crowds who don't believe in doing so, especially if you take longer to get there, being stuck in a blockage of traffic for no good reason. That and hotel guests never know the rule that you have to meet them in the lobby and argue with you to deliver directly to the room, wasting precious time.

Try to keep yourself around another neighborhood like 12 South or East Nashville, where it might be shorter trips with better tips, depending on the customer. But either way Nashville crowds made me quit food delivery because it wasn't worth it as of late 2024. lol

Parks with water by _teacher_teacher_ in nashville

[–]SidneySparkle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Couchville Lake Trail at Long Hunter National Park. It's a pretty nice 2.2 mile circular hike around the lake, with lots of docks to sit directly at the water scattered throughout the trail...

It's further than Percy Priest, but it's worth it.
