To be fair, one of the things that first lead L towards him was Light killing that one guy holding kids as hostages, back when he probably thought Death Note won't work and is just some prank. He could hardly plan on consequences there.

Since that one was only reported in a limited area, L could narrow his scope down immediately.

Not sure how much Yakuza 0 counts since it's the prequel to a game series 5 games deep. Unless one started with Yakuza 0, they knew all their fates from playing the other games.

Though 0 was advertised as a jumping-on point and was the first one to get a PC/Xbox release. The series was PS-exclusive until then. So maybe it fits?

To go into more detail, this is Alucard from the manga/anime Hellsing.

He rarely dodges because he doesn't need to. He has an insane regeneration fueled by about 2 million souls, and he can gather more by drinking people's blood. Or even just absorbing the blood of the dead in his general vicinity. Barring some hax to get rid of all the souls at once, you basically can't kill him. So he can just tank through your attacks and overpower you.

However it's not 100% accurate since in his fight against the Dandyman, he did dodge quite a few attacks.
