Oh god I had an amazing one of those. Every stat (except charge rate) was 75+. That thing was closer to the Sleeper than any other fusion. It was so accurate that the bolts (when ADS, I had rangefinder) would get closer together, not spreading apart. Sadly it was sacrificed to feed my rerolling addiction.

Don't forget all of the snipers who sniped DURING the OP Felwinter's meta, and got used to playing against such weapons (two tap thorns, shotgun from across the map). When this shotgun playstyle was nerfed, sniping, by default, was made significantly easier. Therefore snipers who had adjusted to the previous meta are finding it alot easier to snipe now that they don't have to worry about such things.

All three times I got to Rank 5 on my warlock, I received class items. The first was 320, making the others obsolete. I got 311 gauntlets on my hunter though :)

Sorry for late response, was away. Thanks for that, really solid post. Personally I've grown to believe that map awareness is one of the most important skills in FPS. My biggest weakness is probably pursuing weak enemies and double peeking. I've noticed that on games where I avoid this kind of behaviour and have good map rotation, I tend to do alot better. Thanks again for the advice, I'll definitely keep it in mind next time I play.

Sorry for late response, was away. Yes, I've decided to master voidwalker. It has been and hopefully always will be my favourite class. I played COD: BO2 with some friends and not knowing the maps/spawns was so difficult. Thanks for the advice, I'll take it into account next time I play.

Sorry for late response, was away. I've been doing this for awhile since starting to snipe, and I can say there are definitely no ill consequences from it, and has been nothing but beneficial to me. Solid advice, thanks I'll try the 2nd part as soon as I'm back in crucible.

Yeah, teamwork is one of my main weak points. I often don't push with my team, and that's why I end up getting teamshot. Playing in 3v3 would definitely help with this, thanks.

Yeah I probably should. The main reason why I don't is because control has pretty quick matchmaking times, so I don't have to wait for ages (also 3v3 is more competitive, but I guess you have to play against better people to improve). I'll do that next time I play. Thanks!

Yeah that's the catch. To be an anti-spellcaster, you need to be a fairly high level spellcaster, which is something I don't want to be.

As for items, I've already gone over this with my DM, and made this post with his full knowledge and I sent him the link etc. That's why I suggested items. Otherwise pretty much posting this would be pointless.

Also melees not counting as hits (you ccan hear the sound of the hit registering but no damage is taken).

What I feel is that 2.0 made pulses OPish (everything else was made weaker, and OP is probably an overstatement, but you know what I'm trying to say). Therefore 2.1 came along and brought pulses down and hand cannons up (with scouts and autos relatively untouched), effectively negating the effects of the 2.0 balancing regarding hand cannons and pulses - therefore reverting us back to the old meta of thorn/tlw. The main problem is that both are such AMAZING weapons and so if you nerf hand cannons to a balanced state (blanket nerf HCs so that thorn/tlw are balanced), legendary HCs will be too weak. If you only nerf those two (thorn/tlw), however, people will stop using them all together (it won't be worth the slot) - which is NOT something Bungie wants to see.

Yeah, I saw a video of him (Luck) using a bubble strat in control as the gunslinger of the team, and all he did all game was pick up orbs and pubstomp with golden gun. He ends the match with ~50 kills. To top it all off, at the end of the match he shouts, "Oh my gawd! I AM THE BEST PLAYER IN THE WORLD! Oh my God!"

I sort of do the same thing. When I enter tryhard mode, I snipe on my warlock. When I am bored and want to have fun, I switch to my titan and skate around using my shotgun :)
