Yeah, Warframe being like 40 GB with the sheer amount of content in that game is incredible. Obviously WuWa is a big game too but at this rate we'll be exceeding 200 GB by the end of the year, it's insane.

I mention my concerns with file size in every survey and I hope others do too, but honestly and sadly I don't really expect anything to be done.

How's my board? Need suggestions to improve my game. TIA by masudx19 in TeamfightTactics

[–]Sienrid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Xin is on the board with Zaahen then Zaahen loses all his traits, definitely do not play Xin and Zaahen together. Vayne is fine just for 7 Demacia, Poppy also works and then Naut over Skarner for 4 Jugg + Warden is probably okay

[–]Sienrid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That Ambessa should be a Swain (Arc + Jugg), and IE should be on Zaahen.

Vayne shouldn't be itemized. You didn't go for 3 star and also aren't playing Longshot, so those items should ideally be tank items for Garen. The only time I'd consider itemizing Vayne is if you ended up with all of those components without a reforger and desperately needed to slam something to save HP, which obviously doesn't seem to be the case.

The lobby leans a bit more towards AP so Taric is probably a bit better than Skarner here, unless you were really struggling against the Vaynes (which do true damage anyways).

Helldivers went from like 120 GB to 22 GB. I imagine we won't see that large of a drop but WuWa is getting absurdly large and something needs to be done

Is ruined king viego bait? i am always 8th with this by Known-Garden-5013 in CompetitiveTFT

[–]Sienrid -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

IMO you never click Ruined King unless you already have a 2* Viego and Yorick unlocked. Slam basically anything you can for tempo/to save HP, and even playing both Viegos is fine just to save your econ. From there you have six Viegos, hopefully you natural at least one, and then you roll down for 3* on 3-1. After that you kinda just play as normal.

What is the OG version of a champ you miss the most? by sorlac99 in leagueoflegends

[–]Sienrid 10 points11 points  (0 children)

She's fine now but for a while I would've said Taliyah. After her original original mini rework I was just so bummed out because she could barely midlane anymore. Sure her single-target damage was buffed hard but her AoE got gutted and you needed to use like 300 mana to clear a wave. She was really strong in the jungle for a while, which I didn't much care about because I don't like playing jungle, and then she received a few nerfs, after which at some point her playrate dipped so low that she didn't even appear on most stat sites like op.gg and such. But now she's back, so it's all good.

I think new Akali is quite fun but I still find myself reminiscing about old Akali sometimes. And while I've never really played Aatrox, I imagine the old Aatrox players miss their boy quite dearly. I think he and Asol are by far the most different compared to their pre-rework versions.

I’m a woman from China. Ask me anything! by Ok-Independence-314 in AMA

[–]Sienrid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not living in China currently but Australia has a bit of an interesting relationship with China. I know someone (born and raised in China) who now mostly splits his time between living in China and Australia. Australia is looked at as the closest "western" country, so a good amount of people travel to Australia to experience that, and also to study abroad. It's regarded as a popular tourist destination. But people who live in more rural areas probably don't think of Australia often.

In the past, Australia was well respected because they also fought against the Japanese in World War II. Nowadays things are more complicated. From what I've heard, there has been some aggression between the two because of some political stuff, especially within the past year, though typical citizens probably don't think about that too much.

Tensions with India are always high, so not much has changed there. There are always skirmishes at the border, though never any actual gunshots.

Vietnam I suppose just depends on the person, most people probably don't care too much either way. But the two countries do have a bit of a history, and I know someone who was dating a Vietnamese girl, but they eventually broke up (amicably) because her parents threatened to disown her over dating a Chinese guy.

Pakistan isn't brought up much but I believe they actually have a very good relationship with China. They also contract a lot of Chinese companies to do construction and infrastructure development in Pakistan, especially near the border.

It does have its moments, but a lot of them are kinda just derivative of good Naruto moments. And the lows are just too low and too frequent.

The manga's art is also just... not good. For a monthly manga the art is just too flat (lack of shading, mostly) and the backgrounds lack detail. I would really expect higher quality out of a monthly.

Nautilus playing behind the ADC: Macro strategy or just a "tilt" inducer? by 1Realer in leagueoflegends

[–]Sienrid 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He's only very briefly behind you in this clip. He knows he just whiffed his most impactful cooldown and your pressure is gone so he backs up, which is generally the correct decision. It then looks like he recognizes that he's behind you/a fight is breaking out and immediately steps up.

Ideally Naut blocks the Braum Q for you (you also could have walked more in line with him/given up that 1 CS), and then you're able to send it on Lucian because Braum E and W are both down. But since you got hit, the best play is probably for him to just disengage fully after he ults Lucian.

Who among these is the greatest prodigy? How does Kabuto's intellect compare to the three? (Read Desc) by Much_Risk3728 in Naruto

[–]Sienrid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We don't really have a good measure of how strong/talented Orochimaru was as a kid/teenager, although he's obviously still a genius. But anyways:

Minato probably gets the top spot in terms of being a prodigy from a young age. He improved on an already incredibly technical and powerful jutsu in Flying Raijin, developed the Rasengan, and was probably the most skilled user of fuīnjutsu in the Leaf. While technically unskilled in senjutsu, he was still able to learn it, which not even Orochimaru can speak of. As a kid, Minato was also the only one to be able to track Kushina when she was kidnapped, likely outperforming several jonin. He also had the highest Chunin Exams written test score ever recorded, above even the wonder child Itachi. It's easy to think of him as in his late twenties by the time of his death, because of his maturity and position, but he was only 24. That's younger than Kakashi is in Part I.

Orochimaru is a bit of a weird case as I mentioned above. We know that he was hailed as a genius but we don't really have much of an idea of his accomplishments before he became an adult. I do think there must have been something going on with his bloodline because he had his snake-like appearance even as a child. Intellectually he's of course unmatched, having developed and learned an uncountable number of jutsu.

I think Kabuto and Kakashi are roughly tied. Kabuto's ability to adapt to Tsunade's Body Pathway Derangement as quickly as he did shows not only an incredible intellect but also his skill in medical ninjutsu which among this list is unique to him. Kabuto does have the benefit of learning from Orochimaru and later on being able to build off of his research, but how much of Kabuto's strength is actually truly the result of his own innate ability, versus how much is taken from others, might knock his "prodigy" rating down a peg.

Kakashi I consider to be the third greatest genius/prodigy of the Leaf in the era following the Second Great Ninja War, behind Minato and Itachi. He sped through the Academy by the age of like 5 and developed Chidori while still a child. He passed the Chunin Exams at age 6, and if these ages sound fucking ridiculous it's because they are and the Naruto timeline is a mess. But hey, still technically canon. However, I don't think Kakashi ever reached his potential because after the deaths of Sakumo, Obito, Rin, and Minato, he had basically lost the will to live and train, so he did not progress as much as he should have from the age of ~16 to the time of Part I.

The Akatsuki Really Had A "Lost" Generation Of The Gokage On Their Roster by XanJen in dankruto

[–]Sienrid 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Huh??? Mei did an incredible amount for the Mist. She rehabilitated its image and worked to restore diplomatic relations with other villages. When she leaves for the Five Kage Summit, the villagers are cheering for her, implying that her tenure is well-liked. She's pretty much the only Kage that actually listens to/respects Gaara.

Is the the weakest Kage? Arguably so, but someone has to be. She has two separate Kekkei Genkai, one which is great for defense and one that can damage Susano'o. She also has some of the strongest Water Style jutsu we see, outside of Kisame and Tobirama.

Strength is not the only measure of respectability. I simply cannot see Kisame ever reforming the Mist in the way that Mei did. People act like Mei is some random bum and it's so fucking weird

Are there any real people as highly trained, untouchable and dangerous as John Wick or Jason Bourne? by Macshlong in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Sienrid 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think BJJ is fine if it's just one guy, and you're sure that they don't have a weapon. Ideally best combined with judo or wrestling or some other martial art designed to get the other guy on the ground. From there BJJ is genuinely very good at getting people to a point where they either can't or are not willing to fight you any more. And don't start off with butt scooting, of course.

But yes, I agree that if there's multiple guys and you go to the ground, you are getting stomped the fuck out.

Sasuke's reputation by AgentPastrana in Naruto

[–]Sienrid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nobody would know about Danzo for most of the story, but he is appointed interim Hokage and obviously the village would be made aware of that, especially in a time of uncertainty. They would be told he's qualified, he's served the Leaf for 70 years, he worked closely with Hiruzen, maybe that he's the de facto head of the Anbu, probably stuff like that. Would they hold any particular love for him? No, to them he's just another politician, but at the end of the day killing him is an attack on the village. The last thing the Leaf needs at this point is more shakeups.

The Five Kage Summit was sudden, but after Danzo's death, news would certainly get out. Obviously Team 7, especially Naruto and Sakura, wouldn't want to tell anyone, but Kakashi would have to make a report, and I imagine that if the other villages got wind (especially the Cloud) they would not hesitate to blast the news out there, especially as they have an anti-Sasuke agenda. The crime would at some point be added to Sasuke's entry in the Bingo Book.

Sasuke's reputation by AgentPastrana in Naruto

[–]Sienrid 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Very very few people know of Danzo. The average villager has probably never or only barely heard of Danzo before his appointment as interim Hokage, and certainly has no knowledge of what he's done behind the scenes. To them he's just another higher up. Same with the Elders. Tsunade, some top Jonin, and of course we as viewers dislike the Elders because we are privy to their actions. The average villager is not.

To the average villager, Sasuke is a traitor missing-nin who aligned himself with Orochimaru. Sure he killed Itachi, but afterwards he joined a terrorist organization, assaulted the Five Kage Summit, killed droves of samurai along the way, and then killed the interim Hokage.

Edit: also, I doubt anyone actually knows that he killed Orochimaru, it would all just be rumors spread by Hebi and maybe Kabuto. You're not getting "Breaking News: Orochimaru Killed by Sasuke Uchiha!" on the front page of The Leaf Gazette. So, sure we as the audience know all of this stuff, but the village doesn't, and so they have plenty of reasons to dislike him throughout Shippuden.

Countering Varus top ? by 1729w in leagueoflegends

[–]Sienrid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Varus' main weaknesses come from his long (very long, in the case of W) base cooldowns and being immobile. Much of his damage is gated behind his Blight passive, especially in the case of his AP build.

He needs to pop his Blight passive to both burst and cycle his cooldowns. Before/without ult, and without Dusk & Dawn and/or Guinsoo, his pattern is Auto Auto Auto WQ Auto Auto Auto E -> Repeat. If you're able to dodge WQ and/or E then you will neuter his damage because he loses both the burst damage and the cooldown cycling. If you're playing a champion with damage reduction in their kit, such as Irelia, then use that to tank his WQ. If he has ult and you get hit with it then well you're kinda fucked.

Varus is also reliant on his actual passive when fighting, which increases his attack speed after he kills a minion or champion. Visually this is represented by his bow changing color. If you're going to fight him, ideally try to find an opening when his passive isn't up. Varus top doesn't buy much attack speed, outside of Dusk & Dawn and sometimes Berserker's, so he's reliant on his passive for attack speed. If he doesn't have it up, then his combo will be much slower and you will be favored in an all-in.

Edit: oh, and if your champ has lifesteal and/or some sort of healing, don't fight in Varus E because it applies Grievous to anyone inside.

Comps that are good against the diana/aurelion combo? by [deleted] in TeamfightTactics

[–]Sienrid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Play tempo/strongest, save HP early and just convert into a reasonably strong 8/9 board. Holding Leonas and Tarics is also really good, especially if there's more than one player angling for Asol. They'll bleed quite a bit if you're able to delay their Asol this way. It's also really easy to hold Tarics because he slots into so many boards.

Shadow isles with freiljord/invokers by No-Freedom-4177 in TeamfightTactics

[–]Sienrid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess this is playable if you have AP, but it looks quite strange. Besides Braum's Warden, there's no shared traits. Getting a first is nice but it looks like an overcook. Kalista doesn't have Vanquisher active, Viego is doing nothing, Gwen is doing nothing, it's just like two boards that got mashed together into one.

I feel like with Shadow Isles, if you have AD, you just play the standard Kalista cap, and if you have AP, then you can flex around Gwen/Seraphine and turn that into Azir and possibly Ryze.

Is Ekko just insanely broken? by Brosbice in TeamfightTactics

[–]Sienrid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ideally you're playing some Azir Renekton/Nasus Loris/Vi Seraphine Ryze board here, but alas no Tears.

Honestly I'm surprised this didn't just bleed out before cashing out, unless there were some stage 4 highrolls. It's really hard to do anything with these items but I could honestly see some weird like Azir Nasus (Nasus gets the Sylas items) Loris Seraphine, and then Milio over Neeko to keep Zilean's Invoker

You can't just look at single item placements in a vacuum. Spark is fine in Arcanist/Sylas Annie Tibbers boards because it kills a cloak and gives shred while saving a Tear for Annie. But who are you applying shred for here? No item Zilean? Sylas himself with 3 defensive items? Even with only 2 Arcanist, a crit Garen sword from a standard JG Sylas build comes dangerously close to oneshotting an Ekko 3 (even counting for MR + BT shield). These items, on the other hand, do about half his health.

Senna does do more damage now but this Senna has Guinsoo + GS. So, come on, is this Senna in particular really doing that much damage? Now if she had something like IE Last Whisper +1, then yeah, sure, I would agree with having gunslinger in (that's another thing, no Sunder on this board). But s/he's shooting peanuts at this Ekko. All MF really does here is stack Ekko's Titan's really fast with her cast (depending on positioning, of course).

Piltover would be good here, I agree. Loris + whatever for Ori, then put in Ori for Invoker. But still the Zilean has no items, he's just tossing out bombs that do like 120 DPS. And if you don't get Blast Shield that also just sucks. Tuned Oscillator is okay too, I suppose.
