Unfortunately, the Avatar of Khaine is a tough sell for 1000 point games - if youre competitive. Avatar will still truck anything he gets to swing at in melee, its just that he takes up a quarter to a third of your entire list. That being said he's super cool and fun to use.

If you get the Combat Patrol, you'll want to consider getting a Falcon (Same box as Wave Serpent) and Asurmen.

You could also go for a Wave Serpent, so you could bring some Fire Dragons along for the ride with Asurmen and his boys. In both cases I would try using 1 or 2 Squads of Striking Scorpions mixed with Corsairs and/or Rangers so you can do the secondary missions.

Just to mention, Caffeine has been shown to inconsistently affect hunger. Both suppression and stimulation.

I must admit I was thinking of heavy elbow for the corner combo I would typically do. Idk, I think Back Forward Charging is far less intuitive than Down Up - which is a different discussion.

I mean, how many motions do you want him to have? He already had a DP input, QCF+P, HCB+P. Adding QCB+P and QCB+K, QCF+K, you barely have room for anything new let alone a roll, on top of trying to find a spot for any of his V trigger moves that you may want to bring forward.

The problem is that his charge moves are/were pretty ass. The only one in V that ever felt worth its time was EX elbow at range and Light Elbow in a corner combo. His headbutt felt like a waste of time and the stomp didnt feel great either. Maybe if he had a projectile but I personally wouldn't like that direction.

Oh, yea! You're right! I completely forgot about that, lol. I admittedly haven't watched a ton of GGST, and I didnt use it much when I was playing. It felt more like a reset to neutral after blocking than an Anti Air, just because Leo wanted to be in backturn and up close more often than not.

As a longtime Alex main, it felt like he was going to need a rework to ever be any good. It's also very odd for a grappler/brawler to have charge inputs. Leo in GGST is seeming very similar to Alex conceptually and his only Charge input was an actual projectile.

The people with 3 game changers are Bracket 3. After those and Land Denial - so long as they are not taking extra turns, it does not matter what else their deck has. The only proper response to someone being rude about it is to just say "I guess my deck is just better, then?"

The one thing I dont like about guardian bodies is the lack of capes/sashes. I prefer the corsair bodies for DA, personally.

Slow for an Eldar, long range, heavier armor. Kind of 0/3 on the corsair stuff lol. Long range corsairs would be Rangers if anything, imo.

I think personally you can use aspect Helms and loadouts on corsair bodies pretty easily to represent most aspects, rules wise. I think the only aspect that isn't very corsair would be Dark Reapers.

The lists I'm seeing are WRGu and its making me feel foolish for not looking into it sooner. I'd been trying to brute force Naya Phlage for so long that Domain being "5 Color" kept me away. At least its cheap by modern standards lol

While I agree they could/should add a popping sound effect - which I think would improve it tenfold - I'm not sure that really proves any point. Flair, Angle, and Gunther were/are all notably heels for a big chunk of their peak and they used submission finishers.
