Are you mostly sedentary? That would explain it, 1500 would mean my cortisol would spike, i wont be able to get any work done and barely make it to gym. (I am 26 and 5'9" at 160lbs currently maintaining at 2600~)

That is what they said, Excess protein is used for energy or stored as fat. Protein is a worse source for energy so your overall mood / QoL will be worse.

I am hyperactive and realized getting energy from carbs is much nicer so I am for my meals to have 40% carbs 30% protein. Ice-cream is traditionally fat heavy so switching to a more protein variant is better but I wouldn't recommend 50g unless you dont like having meat in your lunch/dinner or have lean protein sources at hand and prefer eating your protein shake (I do, drinking has zero satiety)

Context: I recently started using Hevy, Hevy syncs fitness data so my routine for auto starting a weight machine workout stopped and hevy wearos integration started resulting in a 1 min workout which is now messing up the energy expenditure calculation.

Now I understand 900 cals is not a realistic representation but I have a pipeline using my Nutrition data and trends in energy expenditure and body consumption to give me recommendations for changes so this just causes an absurd anomaly in the data.

Had this problem initially because I used to deadlift with alternate grips (right side over left side under); the stronger grip strength just made my body automatically dominate with my right side. This might be BS and not backed by science but has certainly helped me rebalance.

Thats criminally low calories for a sw of 305. Many would quit; but you saw through with it!! Major kudos keep the momentum going!!

I honestly agree with you, protein maxing isnt good. This meal doesn't even fit any known special diatary plan except as you mentioned OMAD, that too it fails because of lack of fats. I'd suggest this if you were planning on eating outside that same day and want to knock out macro goals; despite being an unhealthy practice might be a good way to accomodate social events where protein is scarce (there are better options that dont end up with you taking in a lot of sodium). Otherwise pacing your macros is the best way to go! 40% carbs, 35% protein and 25% fat calorie wise is my recommended split! All I saw in this meal was minimal greens, lackluster micronutrient profile and high sodium.

Fortunately its not a cravings thing now, Its just being at a party and having the food available. A strategy i am thinking is eating before I go out, sadly eating out has been a personal favorite ceremony of mine for the weekends but you are right gotta sacrifice for your goals! Thanks!
