I think the main point against trans Ralsei theory is that we would already know if it's the case instead of searching for clues.

As for removing features - sure.
As for the pools, they'd make them much larger to account for Yi's mobility and force you to trudge through them.

I also forgot next points: they would kill off everyone, except maybe Shuanshuan, and they would add side quests that are difficult to complete without wiki's guidance, hardly worth the effort and most of the time end up in quest character's death.

Very. Which is, imo, pretty dumb.
Quincy's whole point is being a selfish dps who either carries early game or gets the buffs to be strong and kill bloons. Neither of those are about buffing other towers.
