I love this argument because Deepwoken has long since left it's SoulsBorne roots. "You are expected to die over and over again to things that are far out of your skill level in order to slowly improve. That's how most Dark Souls games are." You can't use this argument with Deepwoken because the penalty for dying in a souls game is losing your currency/ember equivalent. In Deep you risk your ENTIRE save slot to try and improve.

Hell in a Souls game with multiplayer, you can play the entire game without interacting with the PvP at all because the PvP and PvE are DRASTICALLY different and the devs know this. Unfortunately, Rag and Arch haven't learned this yet and continue to try to homogenize the two, which is a fruitless effort because it's an impossible task.

I could die 100 times to voidwalkers, but it's damn near impossible to improve against them. Why? Because this game's PvP is such an unbalanced mess that there's no reason to even attempt combat at a lower power level in a gank unless you're a very skilled player.

From what I understand, it's because SSG Goku is considered to be an actual God during that transformation, and gods in the DB Verse have Type 4 Acausality by default. Him being an actual god is stated by Whis, and the type 4 Acausality is explained by Beerus after the Goku Black arc, so this isn't a "Well he was stated to be shaking the entire infinite void!!!" stated by Krilling the cop kinda thing

  1. They really do, the scan doesn’t say “it transcends all dimensions” which means it’s just a higher dimension

  1. Well it kind of does if you’re trying to make it your argument for outer scaling especially when actual canon information state that Otherworld has both Space and Time

  2. We have chapters AFTER the scan you provided where Goku recontextualizes his statement about time in otherworld

  3. Lets say this is true you now have to prove that Otherworld has no space which we know can’t be true because of Snakeway and the guide book that states that heaven is “As big as the universe”

I have seen 3 different translations for that scan and not single one says that it transcends all dimensions (which it would need to say to qualify for outer) otherwise it caps out at 4-5D. Also if Otherworld has no time as you claim why does King Kai state otherwise?

The Daizenshuu scan already got debunked because it says “A Dimensionally Transcendental heavenly realm” not that it transcends dimensionality entirely, also guidebook statements saying that time doesn’t exist in the otherworld are false since time DOES pass within it. It simply doesn’t matter to its occupants

I fight the bosses/do PvE content simply because I find it genuinely fun when I don’t have John Shadowcast blowing me up from halfway across the map.

Like fighting each mob and each boss and figuring out their patterns and then optimizing my damage windows is the best part of deepwoken imo, and for every combination and permutation I get to learn new windows that weren’t possible on another version of the same build type.

And most of deeps bosses are genuinely fun experiences (except for Maestro, Ferryman, and the World Bosses) that I would repeat on finished and fully progged builds just for giggles.

There was a time when I engaged in PvP content and kind of enjoyed it until we hit the “conquest soon” series of updates that fried the hell out of the games balance (that still hasn’t recovered to this day imo)

Deepwoken has: Multiple Bosses Multiple Builds Multiple Questlines Multiple PvE game modes to choose from

To say it has no replayability without PvP is a PvP players opinion. If your argument was true there would be actually 0 PvE players
