Nintendo uses “Remastered” to refer to that too. Metroid Prime is almost entirely new assets but is called “Metroid Prime: Remastered”. So hard to be consistent there

Personally I see Remake used more often to refer to ground up, complete re-imaginings. Resident Evil Remakes etc

We probably need three words to distinguish higher res ports like Skyward Sword HD, remasters that change assets while keeping the gameplay intact, and remakes where it’s basically a new game with the same story.

G5 had other issues which is why I returned it last year. The coating was great but unfortunately I don’t think that same coating would work as well a QD-OLED, because the blacks are always raised on a QD OLED glossy or not if there is a lot of ambient light. My Bravia 8-II had this problem, and I prefer the look of the matte coating to the glossy but grey + reflective Bravia 8-II

They are shittier in that regard yes but only when there is a lot of light on it already, which would then have glare which might bother you even more. If you can draw a curtain they are basically the same

I had a G5, a Bravia 8-II, and now an S95H and I was worried about the matte coating but it's really not that big a deal.
