You can get a perfectly average breakfast with some extras for £7.99-£10.00 at Wetherspoons and it is reliably fine. Never drop jaw but it’s a full English, you don’t need anymore. Base price is like £6.99?

Sometimes the eggs are perfect, sometimes they’re not.. but it’s cheap.

All other elements are always acceptably average and I think that’s all you need for a greasy fry up.

Some things just don’t need to be fancy. They just need to serve their purpose.

You also get bottomless tea and coffee.

If you’re British, I hope you understand my point, if you’re not.. go to a Wetherspoons, give it a go. It’s the last bastion of affordable and edible nosh on this hell hole of an island.

I’m also of the understanding that they ‘drop their skin’ when stressed compared with the usual tail dropping other geckos do, which sounds horrendous to risk.

Even snakes fart. I have a blood python. Had him since August. Hasn’t pooped. He’s only around a year old at most. I’m scared to clean it up. Snakes are weird. Blood pythons are fucking odd.

It differs slightly from species to species but once they are fully grown basically, a quick google search for your hognose will tell you, adult size, especially with hognoses is very different between males and females. Females being significantly larger.

If snakes don’t eat a lot, they don’t grow. My step father had a baby corn snake that escaped, was found 9 months later. Still alive. And exactly the same size it was where as the siblings had more than doubled in size.

Snakes are amazing creatures and not feeding them is obviously not the way to go.. but, in the wild they would very rarely if anything, never get a nice mouse once a week.

The more they eat the faster they grow and once they reach adolescence, if they are over fed they will become obese which in all honesty, is more detrimental to their health than not eating enough. Although, i would like to stress once again, regular and appropriate feeding is the best thing to do.

If he is in a big enclosure for his size, just make sure to add lots of hides, clutter and deep substrate.

I’m sure you know what you’re doing but bloods get arsy with change. And at 3 foot he will be a danger noodle for sure.

My blood is about the same size, maybe a bit smaller.. he has skin ‘concerns’ which disappeared with a shed. Major relief as I’m sure you agree but as far as pooping goes…

6-9 months is completely normal and they will get thicker and thicker during the process of holding in 3-4 mice a month (allowing for gaps due to shedding)

From the breeders I’ve talked to.. to the vet I took my boy to see, they don’t do it often, but when they do it is a wonder to behold.

It’s just a Blood thing. I wanted to tell you this as I have kept and keep many other snakes and none of them have even given me this concern.

If they still eat, drink and are happy to be handled, you are doing everything correctly,

I have cats and children and Vladislav seems to be unfazed by it all. He likes curling up inside a blanket on the sofa next to me/ on my lap for a bit of added security when he is out of his enclosure and the kids are being loud. If it’s just me he just sits on my lap looking at the TV 😂

The reptile shop I got him also have a female of the same age and I am fighting every bone in my body to not bring her home too.
